We don’t come here very often, only when visiting relatives. Today we wanted to celebrate their big achievement and went to this restaurant. Of the 3 mains we ordered, only one was good. My husband and I wanted to split a steak but the mass that came to me didn’t taste like steak, it tasted like tough, overcooked sole. I don’t know who came up with this idea of frying steak in breadcrumbs but the breadcrumbs were overcooked. We also ordered a baked potato. It was tough, cold and without sour cream. We had to return it to the kitchen. The second person’s steak which she ordered rare was overcooked and tough. The potato was the same as mine, cold, tough and without sour cream. But she was too kind to complain. She took her dog food. Isn’t dog food too expensive? We have been here many times but we have never had such terrible food here. I predict that if you keep this up you will close this restaurant very quickly. They finally brought us a new dish in the form of steak and baked potatoes. There was even sour cream on the potatoes. The steak was half-raw but tough and the baked potatoes were clearly cooked yesterday. Maybe they tried, but this food was a 5 out of 10. We worked on the farm for half a day and just wanted to eat something tasty. And their alcoholic drinks are quite suitable for children, you can’t taste the alcohol in them at all.

Food was perfect. Each dish was seasoned perfectly! The flavors were simple and delicate but perfectly balanced. Poutine with fried cheese curds and steak strips, fried pickle chips and steak and blu salad. Every single thing was perfect!
Nice rotating selection of local beers.
Oh, and……
the service was the best I’ve experienced in longer than I can remember.
Then we won a few dollars in the casino after dinner!
Will definitely stop in again!

Stopped in for lunch 4-15-25. Courtney was bartending, waitressing and cooking. What a fabulous experience. The facility is clean and has a nice layout. The copper bar is beautiful. The food was fantastic. We recreate in the area frequently and this will be our new “go to”.

The Tomahawk Bar was a vendor at our wedding recently. They were incredibly easy to coordinate with. Nate the owner worked every detail out with us! From ordering our favorite kegs, to planning out the His/Hers specialty drinks, to stocking the bar with random options of drinks! Everyone loved the Bar service and hospitality of the bartenders! They made paying for the bar easy and kept track of everything for us! Would highly recommend them to anyone needing a bar service for an event!

The bride and I were on a Billings run from Wyoming. Decided to swing in and have lunch. The atmosphere was very nice. Server was super friendly. I had “The Burg”. Possibly the best burger I’ve had at a restaurant. My wife had the Monte Cristo. She said it was really good as well. The fried mushrooms are not what you’d expect. They are hand breaded portobellos. So good. They portions were large, but quality was dialed. Highly suggest trying it out. I believe it isunder new ownership/management, and these guys are nailing it. Thanks for a great experience. We’ll be back!
