I got the lamb feta sausage patties with poached eggs, and hash browns
My daughter got scrambled eggs and a mickey pancake.
Her pancake was dry and it kinda tasted like it came from a box, no flavor . She loved her scrambled eggs and ate them all and half my hash browns that needed salt.

The menu featured a diverse selection of foods for brunch and breakfast. I really loved the dish that i have ordered which was Greek goddess. The bacon was good and other items too. I would like to come here frequently.

So, if you have a breakfast place you should either serve “bougie” food at bougie prices or mediocre everyday breakfast items at affordable prices. This place believes they can have it both ways. Charge a lot for small portions and unflavored food.
I had the portabella tomato spinach omelette and it was very dry and overcooked. On top of there being absolutely no flavor. I had to add tons of salt to get some flavor on it. I also added an upcharged English muffin to my meal, which came out rock hard and dry. If I’m being upcharged for something it should be fresh and not from a week ago.
My husband had a berry pancake special. For the price there should’ve been way more berries. It was almost the same amount of pancake that my 18m old had, with two eggs and two tiny sausages. But my husband’s meal was over $10 more dollars than my daughter’s Mickey Mouse pancakes.
Our server was nice and attentive and the bathrooms were clean. That’s about all the positive things I can say about this place.
Take your money somewhere else. You’ll get better food for the same price at the other breakfast places in town.

Well we finally got a chance to sit down and have some breakfast here. Really love the whole feel to the restaurant, friendly staff, relaxed vibe, and very attentive service.
Food came out pretty quickly, only thing was my breakfast potatoes came out cooked a little bit long.lol Other than that everything was great, coffee refills came regularly, was nice to try somewhere different.

I can’t say enough good things about 43rd Street Deli! Every time I walk in, I’m greeted with fast, friendly service that immediately makes me feel at home. The food is easily the best in Gainesville—and honestly, it might be some of the best breakfast I’ve had anywhere. Every bite is delicious, from classic staples to unique specials that surprise me each visit. You can tell they put care into every dish, and I leave every time thinking, “That’s one of the best breakfasts I’ve had in a long while!” I highly recommend it—if you’re in Gainesville, you owe it to yourself to stop by!

Arrived at a peak time on a Saturday morning, there was already a waiting list. It moved quickly, and we were seated before the timeframe offered to us. We were seated at the Bar, where the bartender was busy – but very competent. We had our order taken quickly, and was served to us quickly as well, despite how packed the place was. The food was really excellent, and we had an option for tomato slices instead of a bread (which was a great idea).
Parking was a challenge, but not unreasonable. This place was worth the hype.

My family and I are regulars at 43rd St. Deli. The staff are kind, professionals who are extremely attentive. The restaurant is always clean and they have staff picking up plates/utensil’s that are no longer needed. They are truly a team and constantly help each other’s food delivery and tables. There are a lot of quality food options and it’s easy to tell they care about our family. We are so grateful for everyone at 43rd St Deli.
