Jaden served us, and he was a fantastic waiter. Very sweet, very attentive, everybody at the table commented on how great he was.
And the food was absolutely excellent! Everyone at the table ordered from prefix menu, and was not disappointed. I had the lobster bisque, which Jaden served carefully preserve the cute heart shaped olive oil Drizzle! (shown in the picture ). I also had braised short ribs, which were absolutely delicious. The crème brûlée also with some of the best I’ve ever had.
I heard from others at the table at the New York strip steak was also great.
If You’re in the Huntington area, I highly recommend stopping in here.
My husband had the gnocchi with lamb ragu and whipped ricotta, which he thoroughly enjoyed. I had the espresso rubbed pork loin in a red wine sauce, which was also delicious.
The price fixe comes with a glass of wine, a nice plus
For dessert, I had the creme brulee, and my husband had a hot fudge sundae. The service was good, the meal was well paced, and our water glasses were never empty.
The only negative was the noise level. I think when we go back, we’ll go on a weeknight.
A very enjoyable meal at a reasonable price. I have no pictures because I didn’t bring my phone, a felicitous accident that let me be in the moment.
Welcome bread assortment was delicious (especially the one with the fruits in it!), and I wish more places served fresh warm breads.
Sound carries very easily, so if there are few guests, like during my visit, you feel like everyone is listening to your conversation.
We ate on a Saturday night and the restaurant was fairly busy. The food we ordered was generally quite excellent. All four or our party had good things to say about their meals. The portions were generally generous and the “pours” of our drinks were also quite nice. The presentation of the food was very good, and our waitress was very pleasant and helpful. In addition, the price for most items on the menu were quite fair.
What we found negative was that the food was slow in coming. Three of us were served our entrees while one of us had to wait about 5 or 6 minutes for their entree to be served. The restaurant has windows surrounding the main dinning room and there were flies on one or two of the windows, a no-no in a restaurant. The ambiance was quite lovely but the noise level was a bit more then we liked.
Overall we enjoyed what we ate and all agreed that this was a restaurant that definitely warranted another visit.
Met with a group of people in Huntington, at the newish restaurant, 43 Green, the old Finleys, in Huntington.
We went for mostly the Lobster Special, but a few of the 9 of us, opted for other food.
6 people had the $26.95 Lobster Special, 1 had the Sole, and 2 of us ordered hamburgers.
Everyone mentioned how good their lobster was, Not one complaint about being overcooked, or dry, or tasteless,, Kudos to them for getting it right!!
The person who ordered the Sole, said it was very, very good, and cooked perfectly.
I ordered my hamburger, #84 for me in the last 2 years, pretty much plain, except for gruyere cheese. I had the onions, sauces, etc, put in ramekins, on the side.
The meat was great!!!!
The menu states it is Prime meat, and I believe it. It had the taste of a higher quality meat, that is prevalent in Prime Meat. I also dont think they blended it with a lower quality meat, as some restaurants do.
It had a slight bit of unctuousness, which it nice, and tasty. It did lack the bit of salinity I enjoy, but that took nothing away from the overall taste, or quality of the Burger.
Not in my top 5, but it ranks way up there on my burger list… Just outside my Top 10, which is a respectable placing.
The bun was one of the best buns I’ve had in a while.. buttery, toasted perfectly, and was an addition to the burger, not a detriment.
French Fries.. If there was a school giving out Degrees for cooking French Fries in a restaurant, 43 Green would have PhD, with honors!!
I can state, without hesitation, that these were the best French fries I’ve had in the last 2 years!!!
Holy Moly were they good.
Crispy, soft inside, buttery taste, perfectly seasoned..
I would not think twice about sitting at their bar, and having a glass of wine, and just ordering French Fries, they were that good.
The service, by Nancy, our server, was fantastic.
She was as professional as she could be; quick, personable, and engaging. I really enjoyed her waiting on our table.
It’s Huntington, so parking can be a nightmare..I actually avoid the Village on a regular basis, because of the parking. Plus, I’m on the South shore, and tend to go to places where parking is usually not an issue .. This evening, it was not bad. All 9 of us easily found parking around 5 PM
I wish this new restaurant well.

overall so disappointing – mediocre food, dining room full of flies, the bathrooms are kept in an atrocious state, and the back patio is dilapidated
how this place is still open is beyond me…wife and I will not be returning that’s for sure
prices very fair given strains on operators and diners from failed Bidenomics
