We had a great dinner at 42° North in Plymouth! The Sinful Kiss cocktail was absolutely delicious — smooth, balanced, and really tasty. The French onion soup was seasoned perfectly, rich, and full of flavor. The chicken wings were a surprise favorite — not crunchy, but incredibly flavorful, tender, meaty, and fall-off-the-bone good.

The salad special was fresh and delicious, and the halibut special with lobster mashed potatoes and asparagus was solid overall. The halibut itself was a bit dry and not very flavorful, but the lobster mashed potatoes were excellent, and the deep-fried asparagus, while not the healthiest, was still very tasty. Overall, a wonderful experience with great drinks, excellent apps, and friendly service.

Everything was ok. But I have to say, my son’s plate was the chicken parm..I have never seen such a more enormous plate of that. Could feed 4 kids. Lol. I got a steak..was good. We got seated in the back of the hosts and was a busy walking and loud table. But ok.

I love this restaurant! Our waitress was very attentive, she had a great suggestion with a new vegetarian bowl that was very fresh and healthy. First lobster roll of the year, was absolutely amazing!

A nice spot for great seafood! We came here with family visiting from out of state and everyone enjoyed the fresh and delicious food and drinks. The stuffed shrimp were excellent and the portions were huge. It got a little loud sitting inside, but they also have a nice outdoor deck. Our server was friendly and patient with our larger group. We’d definitely go back!

Wow! So good!! Need I say more? Stopped in for dinner with friends. Nice, clean, good size, well lit restaurant with nice big bar. Spacious seating. Great menu. Greeted pleasantly at the door by the hostess. Sat down table for four. Wait service was great! Our waitress, Rebecca, was excellent, attentive, friendly, polite, courteous and professional. Food and drinks all perfectly prepared, absolutely delicious and plentiful. Good amount for the price. Old fashions are awesome. Ordered the sautéed mussels with white wine for appetizer. Finger licking good and tender (sorry no pic. Got devoured quickly) For entrees, we ordered the New England fried platter, twin Maryland crabcakes and the grilled marinated beef tips. Again all perfectly prepared and absolutely delicious. Highly recommend. Definitely will return to try the other items on the menu.

We had a wonderful meal at 42, as always. It was decorated beautifully for the holiday season. You could pose for a picture in the foyer. It was a good temperature to enjoy a meal with family. And we enjoyed our birthday celebration very much. Our service was great. And the food was delicious as always.

We were in Manomet and were heading home when we drove by 42 North and remembered hearing about it. We stopped in for dinner and found it familiar since we often go to Bay Point Inn in Quincy. The venue is small so it gets loud. We were seated by the bar and a large party so it was hard to hear at times. My wife had the scallops on risotto and it was great. I had the paella which was excellent and reminded me of our trip to Barcelona. Yes, it was that good. I always like to try new beers, so I was happy to discover Forty Second Brew from Kingston, MA. I had the Three Sheets because Ship Faced was sold out. Good brew but I wanted the NEIPA.
Looking forward to our next trip to 42 North. Great food and there were so many more dishes I want to try.

Delicious!! I am gluten free, and I was able to have an amazing dinner roll to start, as my husband thoroughly enjoyed the fresh baked focaccia bread and seasoned dipping olive oil… for main course my husband had the blackened chicken pasta, he said it was 4 out of five… I had the seared scallops with lobster and grilled corn risotto… I give it a 20 out of five… absolutely delicious!! Both portions were double what we could eat so we get leftovers!
Update… I forgot to mention the excellent service!! Thank u Shannon!

My husband and I went out to dinner here tonight with family. Overall fantastic time but it was a bit loud so it was a little hard to talk to each other at times. The food was fantastic- my husband loved his lobster mac and cheese, I very much enjoyed my pork chop with the heavenly apricot risotto and grilled asparagus, and our family enjoyed their steak tips as well. The fish tanks are so fun to watch. Love the lil puffer fish he is so cute! Waitresses/hostesses were are super nice and very attentive. Packed up our leftovers for us with care. Aside from the loudness the only other things to note was that my asparagus was a bit less tender than I typically prefer but still very tasty and my dad’s steak tips were a bit less cooked than he would prefer but otherwise everything was delightful. We definitely plan to come back sometime! As an added bonus a gentleman in the parking lot just outside the restaurant who was talking to an employee as we were walking outside let me, my husband, and my stepmom hold his adorable little 8 week old puppy, the cherry on top of an already great night. 🙂

Most delicious dinner. Christine, the bartender, made us the best Old-fashioned drinks and made the night even more special with her friendly face, pleasant attitude and sense of humor.
We ordered the Rib-eye and seafood casserole. Amazing! Probably one of the best meals we have had there.
The meal was topped off with an absolutely delicious chocolate cake for my birthday!
I would much rather pay $200 for a delicious meal than $100 on a meal at a pub with a grumpy bartender.
