Everything was extremely bland, we got the trio dip only good thing was the queso the beans felt like they were missing something and the quac had a chemical taste. For 12.99 for just three dips was expecting better. We ordered an enchilada that was dry with unseasoned beef the taco was the same and completely fell apart without even getting to bite into it and top of that the rice was cold. With a restaurant that was almost empty would have expected better service and food. Very disappointed because it looks very promising from the outside

I was so happy with my surf and turf tacos. I was very full when I left. Chips and salsa was blended, very good. I almost went back the next day and can’t wait to do this again.

This was a cute place, and keep in mind I only had one meal here. I ordered the birria ramen- very bland flavor. I wanted to give this place a try despite the reviews, but they didn’t lie based on what I tasted. The salsa was really good that came out with the chips and salsa. I ordered pink Cadillac drink- this was delicious and the service was great. I sat at the bar and didn’t have any service issues. It wasn’t busy at all. Overall, it was a cute little spot with good drinks, but the food was very mediocre.

423 Taco is one of the best Mexican restaurants in town in my opinion. The food is very good, has great flavor, the atmosphere is authentic, and service is prompt and consistent. It’s also very reasonably priced. Plenty of seating.

So many other Mexican restaurants in the city with food that has none to very little flavor.

Parking can be the only issue but that is downtown in general – not anything to do with the restaurant which is why I took no stars off.

Service was great. Big Portions. Steak was a little over cooked but besides that Everything else was Excellent. Definitely would go back!

I’ve had 423 Taco a few times but recently, I had the birria tacos and let me tell you – these were incredible! They are loaded with flavor and plenty of onions and cilantro on top to give that added punch! I also enjoyed the rice and corn as both were additionally high on the flavor profile. There is plenty of food and the price is reasonable for the amount of food you receive. I hadn’t tried the birria tacos previously, but I can assure you, this will be my staple for a hearty lunch whenever I’m craving Mexican food in the future. I definitely recommend giving them a try!

Came during lunch time (before 3pm) and still received a large portion of fajita nachos!! The food was so good. The service was quick and friendly. Shaded outside dining offered. Sat to eat between 2pm and 3pm and the area was completely shaded for the entire experience.

Our first visit to 423 was successful. The space is large, nicely decorated and clean. We sat at the bar-not my favorite place to sit. There were only a few tables occupied so I’m not sure if they’re reserved for those who make reservations and walk-ins get the bar. The staff was super friendly and offered suggestions for a vegetarian version of their tacos, which they don’t offer on the menu. That being said they can make any of them without meat/fish. My husband had the prestige tacos and loved them. They were very flavorful. I had the “skinny tacos” which were all veggies. My only pet peeve is that I was charged full price for tacos without meat. I assumed that when they said they’d put it in the register as skinny tacos I’d be charged less. ***I forgot to include the picture of the back of the menu which listed the tacos as well as other menu items.***

We tried 423 Taco for the first time ever and really enjoyed the food. We were seated pretty quickly and decided the dine outside. The inside had a nice décor to it, with some art on the walls and several TVs at the bar. However, the weather was too nice to not dine outside. Our serve Carlos was great and got our drinks shortly after being seated. He then brought the chips and salsa which was good, but I was hoping for a hotter Salsa, which they didn’t really have. We ordered the shrimp and fish tacos both of which were delicious. The meal came with 3 tacos each and 2 sides. The meals were priced at around $13 each, which I thought was really for food that looked and tasted like authentic Mexican food. Overall I enjoyed the experience and would not mind dining there again.

I just got back from a few days visiting Chattanooga and on night one this place came highly recommended by the hotel I was staying at so walked over for dinner. I almost instantly fell in love with the place before even seeing a menu. The decor, location, overall vibe, and everything about it was right up my alley.

Grabbed a table and to my surprise there were birria tacos on the menu. They were nothing short of incredible and the Patron Margarita was the icing on the cake. The staff was super friendly. The few small groups in there eating at the same time seemed to be having a great time. This place was a win!!!

The next day I learned that a scheduled dinner I was attending would be here again and I was thrilled. The birria tacos and Patron margarita was so good the night before I had the exact same again. As a group we went to their little side alley bar where you get to throw ice shot glasses at a bell. We had an incredible time over there and everyone was so friendly.

I truly hope I get to visit Chattanooga some day again to at least get more tacos.
