Overall our experience was okay.
It’s a good place to get Good bar food.
The waitress was friendly but not very attentive. And although the place was not busy there were alot of dirty tables around and near us which were not getting cleaned off.
The portion sizes were really nice and it was a good value for your money.
To start Carne Asada Fries: these were really good. Again a good portion size to share and I enjoyed the steak and the toppings. I would get it again. 3.5/5 stars
Dinner:
Cajan Pasta with Chicken: this was good. I wish the sauce was thicker, it was a bit thinner than I would normally like. Pasta was not over cooked which was nice, and the chicken was cooked well. I wish it did have more color on it. 3.5/5 stars
Queso Birra tacos: my girl friend said these were really good and crispy. Not a lot of strong spices, which she prefers and enjoyed the sides it also came with. 4/5 stars

What a great experience. Walking into a great time we did not want to leave. The service was amazing, the Atmosphere was amazing, THE FOOD WAS AMAZING. The best food. The owner is a blessing and have a great heart. Come here the food is the best that I tasted. Service was great as well. I will come a million more times over and over again.

423 Main has become one of our absolute favorite places to go. My family visits often — sometimes we bring the kids (and they love it), and other times we go for date night. It’s the perfect spot for both family outings and a more relaxed evening.
We’ve also hosted multiple occasions there, and every single time the experience has been amazing. The service is consistently outstanding — friendly, attentive, and welcoming. You truly feel taken care of from the moment you walk in.
The food is always delicious, fresh, and full of flavor, and the drinks are perfectly made every time. We’ve honestly never had a bad experience. 10 out of 10, I would recommend this place to anyone.

This is actually the worst restaurant I’ve been to. I never in my life complained about a place and this is my first ever review. First off our server was awful. Gave me a broken glass and replaced it with another broken glass. Then he proceeded to not check on us and we waited for our food for AN HOUR. My side salad came out after 40 minutes. Everyone else was getting their food except for us. We were starting to think it was racially motivated as I was the only colored person in the place and we were getting treated the worst. Then after waiting an hour for our food it finally came out and my boyfriend ate his tacos but I didn’t like the buffalo chicken egg rolls. I didn’t eat them at all and when told we didn’t like them we were still forced to pay even though we didn’t eat them. Seriously the worst place I’ve been to yet!!!! Ignore the 1 STAR cause it gets a ZERO from us!!!!!

Such a great space, a cool place and an outstanding location, especially during the Holidays. We were able to secure a table near the window and were bright eyed when the lights in downtown Rochester came on. Its beautiful! Server was amazing, food was fantastic and everyone around had smiles. They were quite busy, but did everything they could to make sure those of us walking in were warmly greeted, well taken care of and fed. Salads are great, lamb chops were delicious. Birria tacos were delicious. Even the kids pizza was a 10 out of 10, my granddaughter loved it. There is a cool room with games to play, a spacious bar area and plenty of table for dinner. Cant say enough great things about 423 Main. I will be back many times over. Thanks for a great evening with family!

This was my and my friend’s first time here and we had reservations because it was a Saturday night during Christmas season. It’s a typical Sports bar restaurant with lots of screens. Very crowded with lots of families and very loud. The food, however, is not typical Sports bar food. Big, creative menu with everything from Mexican to burgers to pasta to steak and lambchops. We started with Southwestern egg rolls. They were typical Southwestern egg rolls. Then I had the Fettuccine Alfredo with beef tenderloin and it was Chef’s kiss! My friend had a Caesar salad and the Cajun Fettuccine and enjoyed both. Our server was great and wait time for our food minimal which was surprising for how busy it was! I would definitely eat here again!

The Oakland University ladies golf league enjoyed a fantastic happy hour party on the rooftop at 423 Main Street! The owner, Jonny, and his staff, including Cat, Michaela, and Courtney were especially accommodating, helpful and kind! The ladies had a great time and we will definitely be back!
