Ordered on door Dash where they call themselves In the Zone Calzones. I’m from the NE United States and love calzones. Unfortunately I wasted $26 on a Calzone & Garlic knots, to be delivered on a Sunday late afternoon. We all know how small a plastic fork is, (see pic) this alleged calzone was aabout that size but much smaller than a slice of pizza. It was so grossly undercooked dough that was so thin when I moved it from the box to a plate – see pic – the middle of it ripped from being stuck to the paper. They use cheap crumble sausage and not the quality sliced sausage you see on the Door Dash product photo. AND, I couldn’t order it by itself I was forced to include tasteless rubbery garlic knots that literally had zero garlic taste, it came with marinara that looked and smelled like canned tomato paste, no thanks.
Reply to Spencer: It’s obvious you work harder to spin negative reviews than you do making edible calzones; insisting your ingredients taste excellent.
I added what I can only guess is a stock photo of the calzone on Door Dash clearly showing quality sliced sausage and not raw bulk sausage typically used as bar pizza toppings. far from excellent.
Still, if it isn’t disingenuous enough to use stock photos which don’t resemble anything close to what you serve; it’s a complete bait and switch to position yourselves on Door Dash as a dedicated calzone restaurant, showing premium ingredients when its obvious you’re not much more than a karaoke bar serving bar grade food w/bar grade ingredients and apparently no idea how to make a quality calzone.
And based on your spin I’ll pass on the remake. No reason to go back to a restaurant with bad food and zero quality control.

Was craving pizza. This place did not disappoint, would have a 5 but wasn’t the cleanest, but not dirty , just tables coujd been more attended to, but when I say the pizza SMACKED!!! Definitely amazing flavor and when I say the slices are huge!!! And the cost is not too bad , definitely will go back when we come back to visit!!

The best fun, family and musically excellent pizza joint in the entire state of Arizona. I moved here years ago and the owner of 414 was the most excellent karaoke DJ at my favorite local bar. Now we have the same family karaoke local on Mesa! We bring our family every visit and the pizza is as excellent as the service

I went to the Tempe location for the first time a few weeks ago and really enjoyed myself so I thought this location was going to be great also…WRONG. I came in on Valentine’s Day night for Karaoke night. I walked in and sat down and wasn’t greeted for at least 30 minutes. I watched as other people came in after me and had their order taken. I eventually went up to the bar to ask can someone come to my table. The bartender was nice and apologetic but the guy who came and gave me the menu didn’t really GAF (probably because he was about to leave, understandable enough I guess) but my waiter (an older lady) simply walked over, didn’t introduce her self, wasn’t apologetic at all and said “what you want to order”. I initially ordered something and was gonna order a drink but she left before I could say anything. I just left because at this point I’m not sure if I was treated this way because it was Valentine’s Day and I came in alone or because of other discriminatory reasons but this place just isn’t it. I’ll stick to the Tempe location.

It STINKS in this place. The service SUCKS, if you want to order, you have to go to the bar, NO WAITRESS. Food is GROSS. AT BEST! got a sandwich that was SOGGY and the fries were COLD and under cooked! GO ELSEWHERE! The karaoke host, however, was obviously not in a good mood on the day we visited, which set the mood for the entire establishment. While we all have our moments, one in the position of MC should realize the impact of their position.
The sound quality was also less than impressive. The vocals were not mixed well with the backing track.
A suggestion would be improved training for the mixing of performers, as well as the use of effects (not all songs).

I have a request or rather recommendation for the floor. As I see it, it’s hard for the energy to build in the space as it is.
You’d benefit from a line. A sort of divider to take the stage. Push people closer to the space.
Your space is big, and unless you have a packed space, The people are willing, but the space makes it hard to keep the energy up.
