4-T’s Bar-BQ Forney Barbecue $ It is hard to pick a favorite, but the pulled pork is about as good as you can get. A bad bite couldn’t be found.

On a day when craving BBQ I happened to search for “BBQ near me” an this fantastic place popped up with excellent reviews. I’m glad I took a leap and went by to grab some BRISKET, SAUSAGE, $ TURKEY.

EVERYTHING was great tasting. Not a single complaint. It’s kind of hidden and only says BBQ on the outside but I definitely recommend this place. Excellent customer service as well.

Wow this place is great. Brisket reminds me of Pecan Lodge and I would put it at number 2 in the DFW area. Crunchy bark, dark, delicious. Black gold if you ask me. That’s how I like my brisket. Pulled pork is delicious and the smoked turkey is crazy good (I got an end cut, omg thank you lord).

Sides aren’t very good but nobody goes to a BBQ joint and waits in line to try the mac and cheese.

4 It’s is easily my second favorite place to eat in Forney. It is BBQ done right. I’ve had other things there (that are all good BTW), but my hands down favorite is their Texas Fries. How can you go wrong with french fries, cheese and meat? They pile the meat high to make it a very filling meal. It was so filling that I had to take my desert to go. The meal itself was about $10, and with a drink and dessert I was closer to $15 (I don’t remember the exact amount). If you are looking for great BBQ in Forney, this is the place. UPDATE: I’ve recently had their 2 meat plate, burger and brisket grilled cheese sandwiches. I haven’t had anything here that I didn’t like. Update: I just tried their Turkey club sandwich. You owe it to yourself to try it. Super moist smoked turkey, bacon, swiss cheese, lettuce tomato and a southwest sauce on grilled Texas toast. Yum! I was sad when it was gone.

I saw this place had been raked a top 5 BBQ restaurant in a recent Dallas Observer ranking of Top State and North Texas BBQ so I had to try it out.
Not much to look at from the outside and if you don’t pay attention you might just drive right past it. Very small inside.
The service was great and food came out fast! I had the sliced brisket, ribs, and sausage. I also tried the jalapeño sausage and both were AMAZING! The rib meat came right off the bone! The brisket had good bark on it and was very tender I was able to slice it with a plastic spoon. The price was also great for good BBQ. I believe I spent $16 for 3 meats 2 sides and a drink. Pretty good considering I spent $23 at another place for just 2 meats and the food was only average!
I highly recommend 4Ts to anyone living in the area or close by!

Decent but overrated by Texas Monthly. If this really is Top 50 as rated by Texas Monthly Magazine then there aren’t as many BBQ joints in Texas as I thought. Small portions. Brisket was too dry. Ribs were good, but you could taste sugar in the dry rub, which I think is unnecessary. Sausage was good but a bit to greasy. Not the cleanest place – dead roach in bathroom. Food was stored right outside the bathroom and next to an exposed water heater. Service was pleasant enough. Overall the BBQ is ok but not worth the drive to Forney if you’re coming from Dallas. There are way better places in Dallas.

I got brisket (seasoned), fries (extremely good) & Mac n cheese (not my favorite, could be more cheesy taste. Ended up a lil bland.) I highly recommend this place for lunch!!

My husband and I are HUGE fans of Hard Eight BBQ. We tried 4-T’S for the first time today and it was the most delicious BBQ we’ve ever had! The sides were better than anywhere. The baked beans were flavorful and the potato salad was unbelievable. The okra was light and crispy! The brisket was tender and packed with flavor. The burnt ends were the highlight of the meal. Soooo delicious!

We ordered the sliced brisket sandwich, sausage sandwich and fried okra. All were great. The brisket was tender with a good smoke ring. The sausage had a great bite to the casing as well as a small hint of heat that does not linger. The okra was great, well cooked.

Outstanding craftsmanship by these owners. Personable, Christ-loving folk, Mike and Cyndi form a foolproof duo in the kitchen serving mouth-watering cuts with a side of genuine hospitality. I’m attached to the chopped brisket sandwich. Their bbq sauce is savory and has just the right amount of sugar. From a Texas native they are ranked among my top 5 which include Franklins, Cattleack, Hutchins, & Snow’s.
