Stopped on our way to Madison to have breakfast. Unfortunately the experience was average at best. I had an omelet it was ok. My wife had the club sandwich, she thought it was pretty good, although she didn’t care for the soup(clam Crowder) she thought it was to thick with very few clamp meat.

Went for lunch on a Saturday. Was greated with a loud (the owner??) cook being very loud with his waitstaff. We ordered lunch. Corn beef, for me, pizza burger for her. My corned beef was so overdone that I couldn’t even bite thru it. (See picture) and my wife’s pizza burger was tasteless, and the pizza sause left a sour taste in her mouth. So, neither sandwiches were eaten. Fries on both plates were well overdone and tasted like they were fried in very old grease as well. My soft drink lemonaide was nasty as well. It wasn’t lemonade. Over heard the waitstaff tell cook/owner that “this the 3rd person that can’t eat their food today” overheard her apologies to several customers while we are there. The wait staff seemed tired and just looking forward to getting done with their shift. The only thing good was the soup, and it was off the Cysco truck. Will not be going back. Will not recomend. Felt really bad for the staff as it was told to me that the owner always talks “Like that”. So sad.

Low quality food, not so friendly. Went for lunch I had the French dip, but I heard breakfast is better but didn’t try because it was after 11am. The price for the food doesn’t match the quality.

Love the food and the lady who serves is phenomenal. She always brightens our day. Get the chicken fried steak and the chicken soup.

Rather disappointing. We went for a late morning Sunday breakfast. When we got there we were told we missed the cutoff and they were now serving lunch. We decided to stay anyway. But then the table next to us that came in and ordered AFTER us got breakfast. Not sure how that works. I decided to order the chicken salad sandwich. The menu stated that it came on THICK sliced sour dough bread with swiss cheese. What I got was dried out white bread with processed cheese. The chicken salad was good though. The others in my party were not overly impressed either. Also, there was no TP in the bathroom. The wait staff was very friendly, but we won’t be going back.

When in town I like going here.
Waitress is great.
Food is always great. Plenty to eat.
Price is right. Not high like some places.
Heard there thinking of up charging for pancakes. Don’t start that. Pancakes are cheap to make. And it make you look like your business is going downhill.
When I was there, business was slow.
Come on Jefferson, support your local business not the big corporations.
Help the locals and they keep the money in your town not sending to big pockets out of state.
If you are unhappy about something, be nice and tell the owner what you feel can do to improve, don’t demand, suggest.
I’ll be back. I’m happy
