Update: this place has closed and is turning into a Jose Loco
This is where you want to go for date night or to eat slightly upscale in south Springfield. Think Wayo but cheaper and friendlier. They are still figuring it out but they have an AMAZING selection that is worth the $25 I paid for buffet and drink for one person. I was able to reunite a huge calamari tentacle, a couple three raw oysters /w caviar, and some other sushi magic all in my stomach the night we ate here. But they also had the fried favorites and standard fare from the cheaper sushi buffets around town so I didn’t feel out of place being here.
They are serious about pleasing their customers and they will make it worth your money. If you give the flavors a chance you will notice the difference and I regret not visiting the hibachi grill because I’m positive it would have been a first class experience, I just don’t know how to challenge the grill chef there. Maybe next time :D. Well worth it.

While it was one of the best buffets I’ve been to, I can’t say that it justifies the price.
We went here for Sunday lunch and I was lead to believe it was just over 20 bucks for two people, but in reality it was over 20 per person.
Food was okay, and it was fun being able to eat all the sushi, but way overpriced.

This place has AWESOME sushi. But last time we came here, around 11:20 or so, they had decided that they weren’t going to open until noon that day and there was a note on the door. Very unprofessional but it was fine we went somewhere else. This time it’s 12 and they aren’t open again! No note on the door, just the sign that says they open at 11. And their phone doesn’t work so I can’t even call to see if they’re going to open soon.. ridiculous!!
