Fantastic restaurant. The menu is outstanding. I had the Girona Paella and I felt like I was in Spain. Great flavor, fresh fish and seafood. Service is warm and friendly. Juan (co- owner) is such a nice guy. Highly recommended.

we chose this restaurant to celebrate our wedding anniversary based on a friend’s recommendation. We were not disappointed. The food was outstanding and the service and staff were equally top notch. The atmosphere was very warm and quaint. Prices were very reasonable especially for the quality of the food. I will definitely be going back whenever I am craving higher level mediterranean cuisine.

It is a traditional Italian restaurant. The interior is simple, but there are props hanging on the walls that help make it a small Italian neighborhood restaurant. The menu is simple and traditional. We were provided with a great service though we visited off peak time like late afternoon when there are no customers. We were also welcomed in with a dog. Thanks to them!

I don’t usually enjoy the sauce that comes with veal chop steak, but this restaurant had special taste. French onions soup was delicious without being salty. The wine menu features good selection of typical Italian wines at reasonable prices.

I recommend it to those who are looking forward to family Italian food, like the restaurant we stopped by without planning a meal together while traveling in the Tuscany region of Italy.

Excellent experience, food is of great quality. A big shout out to the staff. Super kind, friendly and extremely careful. We felt very welcomed by them.
We made reservation but there were a couple of empty tables in a Friday night.
Food was served quite fast.
Low light, cozy environment.

We dined here on Sunday evening for a special occasion. We live so close by but haven’t tried this place so we decided to give it a go.
The restaurant is cozy and the host and staffs were nice.
We each got two different special menu which were roasted duck with blueberry sauce($27.99) and tuna steak salad ($29.99).
They tasted decent.. we both finished the dish. To be specific, the blueberry sauce was too sweet for my taste and it overpowered the whole dish. It tasted like a desert- infact, I tried with a piece of bread and it was exactly like blueberry jam.

The tuna salad was cooked properly, my husband was satisfied with the quality of food but he needed more food after that as the portion was too small.

Overall, I feel like the portion could have been bigger but I need to try their regular menu and see the portion if we ever go back there in the future as we needed more food badly later.

Really great food but I can tell we were being judged the moment we got there. Waiter was snobby to us but did provide good service. He question why we were getting white wine when we ordered it and I was like because I would like white wine please after that it was awkward.

Went here on a date and everything was cooked to perfection. First time trying crème brûlée and definitely will not be the last. We got a shrimp and scallop pasta and a regular chicken arugula salad. Both delicious.

We decided to come here for dinner after it was named one of the best Italian restaurants by CT Magazine. Before that I’d never heard of it despite in the danbury area for years. It doesn’t look like much from the outside but it’s nice inside, though a bit sparse. It was pretty lively when we went, which was a Friday night, however we had no trouble getting a table.
The menu is on the smaller side but there are still plenty of options and there were a bunch of great specials. We ordered a fried burrata to start (which was one of the appetizer specials) and I got the tagliatelle ragu (another special) while my mom got the papardelle. Everything was delicious, even down to the table bread. The ragu was akin to beef stew but it was very meaty and the portions were good. My mom said the seafood was tasty and liked that her fish was light on the sun-dried side. The burrata was amazing and the tomatoes it was served with were all incredibly fresh. We finished with the tiramisu which was light and tasty.
While I did not get our waiter’s name i just want give him a shout out because he was so friendly and personable. Over all, everything was good. Was it top Italian in CT good? Not in my opinion. But it was good. I don’t know if I would go back often though.

We went there for the 1st time last week for our anniversary, everything was amazing, especially our waiter Juan, his service was impeccable, everything came out in a timely manner where you didn’t feel rushed or a gap in the delivery of the courses, we will definitely be back
