4 Rivers Smokehouse, the location on South Dillard Street in Winter Garden, has consistently good food, and by food, I’m taking about my personal favorite- the pulled pork. Man oh man, those sandwiches! And the sauce! They even makes special sauces sometimes, like blueberry and peach. It’s just crazy how good the sauces are with the pork. Everything else we’ve eaten there has been good too, especially the fried okra. Now the bathrooms? Yikes. There’s two basically outside by the patio seating area, and they are old and yuk. Best to go before you go. But the food – that’s amazing.

Grabbed a to-go lunch on 10/15/25 and was extremely disappointed. Ordered the cowboy platter (3 meats and with choice of 2 side and bread). I choice brisket , sausage and burnt ends with corn bread, greens, and baked beans .
Brisket was bland and little smoke, sausage was good, and burnt ends was a chopped mess. The greens tasted like raw garlic ad not cooked down enough , beans tasted like a spoon full of brown sugar . The corn bread was the best part of everything as it was moist and sweet.

The food is phenomenal and a really cheap price compared to other smokehouses I’ve been to , the restaurant was clean and organized and the staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu, they also have outside seating and lots of high chairs for toddlers and the music isn’t too loud very calm and welcoming vibe. There’s a prayer board that you can add any prayers to.

The brisket is still my favorite! The corn was a new try and it didn’t disappoint. Don’t miss their cornbread. Everything is always fresh, hot, well seasoned, and cooked to perfection!

They have curbside pickup in which I used. Their staff was so kind and accommodating. I had the pulled chicken and it hit just right. Very pleased. I will definitely be back again!

I never thought I would see the day, but 4 Rivers has officially lost its heart. This used to be one of my favorite places to eat, but my recent visit was a total disappointment. It felt as though the care and soul that once defined their food have completely vanished. The meat was particularly let down; the pulled chicken was almost soupy, and the ribs tasted as if they had been boiled rather than smoked. In fact, none of the meat tasted like it had ever seen a smoker or a grill. It was all incredibly tasteless and a far cry from the quality I used to expect.
The sides were just as frustrating. I remember when the mac n cheese had a firm consistency and was made with real cheese, but now it is watery and has no flavor. The cornbread was dry, and even the sauces were horribly disappointing. I am not sure who is preparing the recipes these days, but they have lost what made them special. The only things that were halfway decent were the cole slaw and a slim okay on the collard greens.
I was honestly flabbergasted at the lack of care toward the food. The current offerings are terribly lacking in Southern flavor, and I really hope upper management looks into returning to the original recipes. I used to love this place, but I would not recommend it to anyone until some serious changes are made.

I am a big supporter of your restaurant because of the food and service I have received over the past 12 yrs. Whenever I get a review notification it has always been 5 stars and when I eat in or takeout I compliment the staff. Today I ordered double meat and was treated dismissively. Look at my two orders and distinguish the double order.

First time here visiting a friend. I had the Texas Destroyer. It was juicy and tender. The bread held up to the juice. The fries were a nice surprise as they were crispy on the outside yet soft inside. Also had good seasonings..patrons were friendly like the staff and I have it on good authority Kids eat free on Mondays? AND they have a free Tootsie roll. Very good experience and price was right.

We ordered the 4 Rivers BBQ take-home catering for Thanksgiving this year, and it was a huge hit! Everything was delicious, perfectly cooked, and so easy to heat and serve. Our whole family kept talking about how good it was, and it made hosting so much easier. The portions were generous, the flavors were amazing, and the pickup process was smooth and organized. We’ll definitely be ordering from 4 Rivers again—highly recommend!
