The ribs were very very dry and smoked flavor was way too strong they put dry rub on and throw in the smoker with little effort. The fat wasn’t rendered at all, I ate one rib and threw the rest in the trash, Very disappointed didn’t even come off the bone. For the price I feel robbed. They used to be good and now asking more money than ever it should be better quality for the price they are asking. The sides portions are now a tiny Very thin plastic container, use to be a decent size deep Styrofoam cup and now it’s a very skimpy container. For the money I paid I could have gotten alot more food at better quality elsewhere. 10/10 would not recommend. Quality has really gone downhill.

The collard green had too much vinegar and no flavor. My friend’s cornbread was dry. And not everyone likes spicy cornbread; please consider regular cornbread too. Ordered the 1/4 light chicken and 1/4 ribs. Mac n cheese cucumber salad French fries and roll. The ribs were definitely fall off the bone. If there was no bbq at the table these ribs are subpar. Needed to drown in bbq to enjoy. The Mac n cheese tasted like a box Mac n cheese not good not horrible. The fries were fries. Overall experience was eh. Nothing special here.

I came today because I was craving for brisket sandwich. It was amazing but it took just a minute to get to the table and while I was waiting, Bridget stopped by my table, refilled my drink and made sure my food was hot. It’s hard to get good service anymore but just her stopping bye and dropping off my food with a smile and then she surprised me with a dessert because I had to wait.

I forgot to take a photo of the chocolate cake but it was amazingly delicious! So good! Actually I’m surprised how delicious everything was! I’m kind of picky about American BBQ – I don’t like much of it and I don’t eat pork. But the food we got was all very tasty.

This place gets alot of hype, its always packed. Ordered ahead because last times lines were out the door so I had high expectations. BBQ was moist, but below average as far as taste goes. If this is the nest BBQ you have eaten then you are going to love other places. The sides were super bland amd i had high hopes for the mac and cheese. Sorry 4 Rivers, for the money charged a person could do alot better out there. This was their signature brisket platter meat portion :/

I have been going to 4R since the first, little location on Fairbanks that you had to stand in line for outside many years ago. Since then, I’ve been to about four other locations and I can say that they are extremely consistent with their great quality. I’ve also been to one of the meccas of BBQ in Austin, Texas and did the right-of-passage waiting in line for four hours at Franklin BBQ just to realize that 4Rivers is far better.

Had a craving that was easily met today. Ordered for the family online. Extremely simple and I love that they have pictures (gets those cravings going). Called once I was in my spot, my order was confirmed and a very polite gentleman said he was packing it up and will be right out. He brought out my food and wished me well. Got home with it and everything was nicely packed and ALL there. I’ll definitely keep using this as an after work pick up dinner option.

Came to try out Four Rivers after hearing amazing things! We are currently looking to cater BBQ for our wedding and man was it good! Service was super friendly and fast. The food was amazing. As you could imagine, we got a little bit of everything to try all the options. Everything was fantastic!
