I don’t know what is happened to this location, but the food is so subpar, since I first started coming here. My partner and I enjoy a nice moist brisket and it seems like the last couple of visits here we never get what we are requesting. We even have to ask for the brisket not to be trimmed so to ensure a moist brisket and routinely, we don’t get it. Today was the last straw, I asked for my moist brisket and when it showed up at the cash register, I could tell it wasn’t even close to what I requested. I then told a person at the register that I was not satisfied. Could you please redo it, my partner accepted her brisket, even though it wasn’t moist. when I received my redo it was nothing but fat I took it and I will show you the pictures of what I received. It was like the guy who originally cut my meat was upset and wanted to punish me for redoing the order. I don’t have this problem at the Orange Avenue store. I don’t have this problem at the Winter Park store. In fact the Orange Avenue store is by far the best. I should’ve drove the extra 20 miles to go there instead of looking at this ridiculous order and wasting my money here.

I stopped in here for a work lunch and was impressed from the start. The staff was friendly, greeted me right away, and kept the line moving fast—which matters when you’re on a tight schedule.
I went with the brisket and liked that they let you choose between lean or mixed cuts. That’s a nice touch you don’t see everywhere. Most people think BBQ means heavy food, but they actually have some healthier options if you’re looking to keep it lighter.
The dining area was clean, well-kept, and had plenty of seating. Service was efficient, and everyone seemed to know their role—no chaos, just a smooth operation. Platters start at about $15, and for the quality and portion sizes, it’s well worth it.
I’ve been to other 4 Rivers locations, and the consistency is there—good food, fast service, clean environment. If you want a solid lunch spot that delivers on both taste and efficiency, this place is a sure bet.

All around great place. The food was delicious and the workers were incredibly helpful from flavors to pick to helping with boxes for to go food. I highly recommend this restaurant. They even have seating outside.

The pulled chicken is disgusting! There is a large piece that looks so uncooked I’m surprised it didn’t chirp at me. If its not questionably cooked pieces its pieces of fat, no real meat. For a $16 price tag plus tax and the nerve to ask for a tip on a takeout order, my flabbers have been gast as I try to wrap my mind around this kind of bland food (mac and cheese and cornbread) at this price point in this economy.

We came to 4 Rivers Smokehouse for diner and it was surprisingly good for a BBQ chain restaurant. We shared a couple of combos including 5 different meats and four different sides and everything was very tasty and hearty. We couldn’t finish it all but they had takeout containers and bags. The atmosphere was casual with different seating arrangements. The staff were friendly and attentive, always making sure that tables were clean and customers were happy.

Braylan was super helpful and nice. He brought our food and made sure we were good or needed anything. It took a little to receive a side dish and we were offered a dessert as compensation (not needed but greatly appreciated). Other than the great food we keep coming back for their customer service!

The food was excellent, but what really stood out was the service.The ladies at the cashier and Jayden especially. Brayln took care of us and was incredibly attentive, especially to my pregnant wife, which meant a lot to us. He checked in at all the right moments and made sure we had everything we needed without being overbearing.
It’s always refreshing to see someone take their job seriously and treat guests with real kindness. We’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend.
