Let me start by saying, I’m a foodie. I enjoy different cuisines and I have an extensive palate. Me and my family had a layover in New York on our way out of the country and we stopped here for lunch. The restaurant isn’t big but the food packs a big punch! The customer service was top tier. They gave us samples because we were having a hard time deciding on what we wanted. The meats were seasoned to perfection! I can’t even begin to tell you what all we tried. Everything was fresh and the portions were huge! Definitely hit them up when you’re in Queens!

Stopped by this restaurant while waiting for my flight. Truly enjoyed dining in at the restaurant. There were a few seats, prices were comparable with portions. Food was great & service was great too. I got brow stew chicken & cucumber ginger juice, my friend got oxtail & the pineapple ginger juice. Would highly recommend.

Pretty solid place, down from the affordable food to the precise service.
Stepping in, the place seems more on the narrow side. There is a seating area but since it’s so close to the waiting area, I would not be comfortable eating in just in case the place got busy so I opted to take my food to go. The guy behind the counter served my food up pretty well and it was affordable. A solid medium plate will run you $13, $15 if it’s an Oxtail order.
I ordered Jerk Chicken along with Rice & Beans and a bit of cabbage on the side with complimentary jerk sauce for the chicken and if I knew the kick that sauce was gonna have, I woulda told the guy to put a light amount on it. Don’t get me wrong, it was absolutely delicious but WOW IT WAS SPICY! It was absolutely overwhelming but I toughed it out because the food other than the wild spicy sauce was so divine. I enjoyed my lunch, even though it almost put a beating on my taste buds. It’s solid, I recommend it, especially those who have a taste for some spice to their food.

This place is terrible!. The curry goat was hard as a rock. I could not believe how tough the meat was. I also ordered barbecue chicken with rice and peas. The barbecue chicken was good on the parts of the chicken that were not overcooked and dried out. They cook everything with scotch bonnet pepper. So if you have kids they cannot eat the food at all. The food is extremely spicy. If you are not a fan of pepper and extremely spicy food. Do not eat here. I do not get how you have a restaurant serving food that kids cannot eat at. This is probably why it’s always empty inside.

The jerk chicken had a great spice and the portions were worth the money. The gentleman working was friendly and gave us a few samples to try before we ordered!

The food was absolutely delicious!!! I had the oxtails and rice which was highly recommended by my daughter who orders through Uber Eats and they did not fail. Everything about my meal was just off the chain! They give you a generous amount of oxtails. Absolutely nothing like many Caribbean restaurants that scoop up a couple of pieces of oxtails and pile on a bunch of rice leaving you wondering if it was worth it. The amount of food, the flavor, the price all is worth every cent! I’m looking forward to returning.

I recently had the pleasure of enjoying a jerk chicken meal, and it was absolutely incredible. The chicken was perfectly seasoned, with just the right amount of spice—flavorful, smoky, and tender. The portion size was generous; I was more than satisfied with the amount of food. Every bite was a delight, and the meal left me full and content without feeling heavy. The side dishes complemented the chicken beautifully, adding variety and balance to the meal. If you’re looking for delicious, hearty, and satisfying jerk chicken, this place delivers on all fronts. Highly recommend!

If you ever are fortunate enough to get stranded at JFK for a 24 hour layover, you must walk over to this restaurant. I thought I was a fan of jerk, chicken and fried plantains, but I had no idea what I was talking about. This is utterly divine. I’ve never had anything like it. NOW, I’ve had jerk chicken.

Me and my friends were craving Caribbean food when we stumbled across this restaurant. We were visiting NY, so all we had to go off of were the pictures and reviews. When we got in, we were greeted by the nicest man who offered us samples of the food before we ordered. We started off with the oxtail which were 10 out of 10 and then I got to sample the jerk chicken which was cooked to perfection. It was so tender, sauce was divine, but overall the oxtail plate won. I also added a piece of fried fish, which was cooked and seasoned, well with extra cabbage and a frozen drink (with all flavors combined into one – yum). We will definitely add this Restaurant, as a go to the next time we’re in the neighborhood, and we encourage anyone else to stop by and visit. You will not be disappointed!
