Was greeted by very friendly people when we came in. Bathrooms tables were clean. The drinks were very good. They have soup and a very good salad bar. We had rib eyes prime rib and ribs. Prime rib was the best we ever had. Everything was delicious. The staff did a great job. Prices are very reasonable. No dress code Come As You Are. Went Saturday night in the snow storm and many other people showed up. Definitely would recommend and I am definitely coming back. Hope they don’t change a thing! 12-11-20 prime rib was awesome steaks were great burgers were great! See you again. 1-7- 22 fish fry, salad bar, server was great . Will be back!

Busy! Told 1/2 hr wait but was only 15 minutes. Nice bar to wait at! Small salad bar but good. They are continually stocking it. Fish was good! Ordered crispy hash browns. They were barely cooked. Wish they would have been done!

We had heard very good things about their Friday night fish fry and decided to try it. (We have not been there since Smiths owned it – we used to be regulars then.) We called earlier to see if they took reservations and were told they do not. Understandable. Were told to come around 4:30 and the wait should be 30 to 45 minutes. We were there by 4:20 and told it would be about a 45 minute wait. We had drinks at the bar. My husband went to check on what estimated seating time would be at 5:30 and was told it should be about 45 minutes. So we waited until 6:15, checked again, and were told again about 45 minutes. My husband was not happy and explained that we had been waiting since 4:20. (And, I want to point out so were people all around us at the bar.) Amazingly, about 15 minutes later, we were given a table. Someone came relatively quickly, gave us water and took our order. By 7:30 we had our water and had gone to the salad bar but no food. The waitress had briefly stopped by several times during the hour to say that our food should be out shortly. So by 7:30 we had had enough, got up, stated our displeasure to the hostess and gave her money for our salads. She responded with a snarky ‘have a good night’ and walked away from us. Needless to say, we are EXTREMELY upset that we wasted a night out as we can’t even say if they had good food or not since after over 3 hours we still did not have our order just small salads. I understand a business being busy but their customer service was horrendous – why didn’t someone go around to people waiting and waiting and apologize? (Would have spent more but had only had some drinks and salad. See question below.)

This is Wisconsin. The food is awesome (the perch is the best), the bar tenders are entertaining even as they rush from order to order. On Friday’s arrive early, food service starts at four and if you get there after that you will likely have to wait, but do. It’s worth the wait.

Wonderful staff is always a great way to start your evening and they ARE GREAT. Loved their salad bar don’t always see those these days, the soup is really good! Friday Fish Fry is one of the best, Also very good is their Prime Rib and the Jumbo Shrimp. Hard to leave without having a great ice cream drink to top the meal. Can’t wait to return

Great friday fish fry!!!!!! My wife likes going here almost every friday night. She usually does the cod and I get the walleye. Very good crispy coating. I like the waffle fries( also the generous amount) and she usually does the mashed with gravy( she usually asks for an extra scoop because they are approx a 2in icecream scoop) but this tie I got the 4 mile burger. Big burger but you need to specify what toppings you want as well as condiments. Fish pic was early covid but dine in is open.
