Love this place!! Much more options that are in the selection. the Soul food dishes and Mexican food (Not Tex-Mex, but authentic Mexican food) dishes in one building, you can’t beat that. I recommend anything on the menu but if I had to pick 3, my favorites are the Oxtail Plate, the Pork Chop plate and the Chicken Enchiladas Plate!! Go with an empty stomach and you will leave full, satisfied and sleepy! LOL Best of all the entire business has a purpose behind it!1 great people doing great things for our community!!

Dude…… Traveled here cause of the reviews and gave it a try, by far the best thing coming up out of Clovis!!!! The food is beyond delish and there are so many flavors!!! This lady is doing some real honest to goodness work here that you rarely see these days. Wether you are local or visiting I recommend you stop by and get one of the best home cooked meals you ever had. The food here is Amazing!!! Miss Cherry is a sweet lady and she gives you the biggest plate filled with the best food! We had a girls day and went to her place and it was perfect! They do soul food and Mexican just check the days. Definitely a great place to go with plenty of good eats! She makes a special side salad if you allergic to nuts just let her know but the must make it perfect!

The food was ABSOLUTELY delicious with good portions. It is very unique in that they serve delicious authentic Mexican Food as well as Soul Food. I forgot to take a picture of the food because I was just that excited to eat haha. Great catfish and coconut cake. The owner Cherry is very generous and stopped to talk with us and we shared some laughs and good conversation! This organization does important work for those in their transition program and they work hard to make good food and help people. <3 will definitely be back soon!

First of all, we have never felt more welcomed and pampered at a restaurant ever. It felt like we were visiting family not paying for service. Everyone was so friendly and our cups were never empty. The owner’s energy is contagious.
When it comes to the food, it was amazing! The best southern comfort food we have ever had. Everything is freshly made and the portions are huge. We can’t wait to go back!

My wife and I went today and were extremely impressed by this little place. Tucked away on a side street near the Pawn City is an incredibly charming little hole in the wall serving up extremely authentic Mexican food and very tasty southern comfort food. The food was outstanding, and tasted unbelievably fresh and bright; my wife got a catfish basket, and it was the best fried catfish either of us have had. Not to mention the portion sizes are MASSIVE. I’m a big dude, and i was straight up stuffed walking away with a to-go box; and for $40 with tax and tip, my wife and I got essentially 4 meals, some good tea, and a huge slice of cake. The atmosphere is charming and uplifting, and it’s run by the most personable lady with a very fine staff. If you’re reading this and thinking of going, you should just go; at the BARE MINIMUM it’s worth a shot, but I expect you’ll be as pleased as we are. Just know that the menu is a little limited on Saturdays. Can’t wait to go back already. Thanks to the owner for a lovely experience; you and your guys rock.

I wish I had enough words to explain how great of an experience this was, but I’ll keep it to the point. As a small business owner, I love supporting other small businesses. The atmosphere was great, the employees were exceptional, and Miss Cherry made sure you felt like you were in grandma’s kitchen.
The food was beyond spectacular with even better dessert. Insane portions that leave no room to desire anything else.
She hit the nail on the head – great woman, great cause, great employees, and absolutely fantastic food.

This place is awesome. Excellent food excellent service. They make you feel right at home literally! Me and my fiance went to go eat Sunday it was amazing! They take pride in their food and take pride in their service! If you leave here hungry it’s your own fault she puts plenty on your plate!?

If I could give more than 5 stars I would.This restaurant is outstanding! You are treated like family the minute you walk in the door. Service was fast and friendly, even followup was excellent. The food was fresh, hot and more than ample servings, not to mention the taste of everything had so much LOVE added. I think next time will start with dessert first. Am definitely going back soon!
