The culinary sanctuary known as 3rd On Main stands as a resplendent lapidary discovery within the municipality of Bryan Texas. The interior design radiates a nostalgic conviviality effectively manifesting a retro-vintage tableau that envelops the patron in a cocoon of domestic tranquility. This atmospheric warmth served as the perfect backdrop for a gastronomic excursion of significant merit.

The Pulled Pork and Queso sandwich emerged as a paragon of unpretentious excellence offering a substantial volumetric profile that ensured a state of absolute satiety. The shredded porcine filaments were masterfully integrated with a molten caseous emulsion creating a deceptively elementary yet organoleptically profound experience. The accompanying tubers exhibited a slightly elevated lipid profile yet this oleaginous characteristic proved negligible as I consumed them with rapacious celerity.

Furthermore the dish designated as the “Main Event” presented a harmonious confluence of savory and sweet wherein the maize-based griddle cakes acted as the perfect substrate for the savory pork. The service was characterized by impeccable solicitude with the personnel demonstrating unwavering vigilance regarding our comfort. This establishment is truly a stellar bastion of American cuisine.

aka, I ordered the Pulled Pork and Queso sandwich and it was wonderful, the meal was simple but delicious and offered a good portion size. I was satisfied afterwards. The fries while delicious, were slightly on the oilier side but that wasnt a problem since I wolfed them down. The dish called main event was also delicious with wonderful blend of pulled pork and cornbread pancakes. Overall everything was good and the service was immaculate, friendly workers always checking on us. Great environment inside with great decor giving it a homey and comfortable vintage eatery vibe. a gem in bryan texas!

We stopped in for lunch yesterday at 3rd on Main and were thoroughly impressed. I ordered the Bacon Cheeseburger, and it was excellent — the vegetables were crisp and fresh, the bread was soft, light, and tasted freshly baked. Every bite had that made-from-scratch quality that’s hard to find these days.

Great food, great flavor, and a comfortable local atmosphere. Definitely a 5-star experience!

We tried 3rd on Main and it was a great experience! The prices are fantastic, big portions, and the food is very fresh.
We have 2 little ones and the lady behind the counter was very nice and set up 2 high chairs for us at our table before we even ordered.
My husband got the cornbread pancakes topped with pulled pork, queso, and a mango Pico. I know that cornbread pancakes may seem intimidating, but try them, you won’t be disappointed! I got the Pork and Queso sandwich which was served on a jalapeño hoagie roll. That sandwich was delicious and I will absolutely get it again. Even the kids meal came with so many fries that both my babies were able to share with much left over.
Food came out fast, the atmosphere had a great downtown feel, and everyone was very friendly. Highly recommend!

This place is right on Bryan Main Street. They have the most delicious breakfast and corn bread in town. They also have real nice burgers. Tonight we had their pork and fries appetizer, corn bread, and regular fries for our group. Their sodas are also nice because they have nice crunchy ice (if you know, you know). Customer service was also very professional and friendly.

The cornbread pancakes and the bacon bowl were so delicious! $41 total for 3 peoples breakfast and drinks, not too bad a price especially when the food is so tasty 🙂 Will be glad to come back in! The ladies working were so friendly as well. Great place.

Today, I ordered the Whiskey Chicken Sandwich (by recommendation of the cashier):
I’m typically not a sandwich fanatic, but I have to give this one some praise.
I especially like the bread they used; it’s a soft, sweet bread that they toasted in a way that gives the interior face of the bread some sweet crispiness.
On top of that, the chicken was juicy, the vegetables were fresh, and the service was great.

Our group of 11 enjoyed breakfast here, and it was…. INCREDIBLE. I had the corn cakes with pulled pork and queso, INSANE. Just delicious! The cheesy grits and breakfast potato’s are also phenomenal! My wife had their standard breakfast, and we shared a mimosa. Heaven was a fantastic waitress who helped us!

Hot Food – Cold Staff. Came here for Breakfast. Please note they do not open until 10:00 during the week. The Staff came and unlocked the door, but did not open the door to us. We felt a cold vibe from the Staff during the rest of our visit. Especially when the Server was sitting with other Staff at a table in the corner and wore her headphones for most of the time we were there. You grab a menu and order at the counter. If you’d like a refill on your coffee, take your cup up to the counter. Grab your creamer while you are there – there is none on the table. Grab a coffee stirrer at the condiment bar, there is no silverware at your table if you need a spoon for your coffee. I ordered the Cornmeal Pancakes and they were hot and delicious. My husband had the Morning After and said it was very good. We will be back, now that we know the food is good, just wish the Staff was more friendly. Great location, lots of food choices. They serve Beer, Wine and have a Mimosa Special.

Look… It’s a hipster place in a trendy location. You’re gonna get a great atmosphere and vibe…but the food is mediocre at best; and, the staff gives “room temperature freshmen year of college” service. You go to places like this for social media pictures, just to say you were there.

The entire staff stayed in their phones the entire time (including the cooks)…not once was our table checked on.

My whole plate was literally room temperature. My fries were soft and limpy. The brisket was decent, but I only got maybe 3 forks worth of it. (I had more melted cheese than meat). The cornbread appetizer is a very tiny muffin for about $3…but the cornbread was very dense, and tasted like I poured straight corn meal in my mouth. My friends plate was so bad she didn’t even eat the other 3/4s of it.

If you’re going for good food, draft drinks…This ain’t it. Go try somewhere down the street.
