Fantastic breakfast stop! We went to 3rd Coast Cafe to start our weekend in Chicago, and it was an amazing stop. My omelette was made to perfection, and my wife really enjoyed her chocolate chip pancakes and hashbrowns. It is worth the trip down the steps to the 3rd Coast Cafe for a delicious breakfast with a pleasant atmosphere!

Visiting family in Chicago this weekend and ate here. This place is fabulous! All the food we had for lunch was really delicious but the meatball appetizer was my favorite. We went back a second time for breakfast and the breakfast burritos were great. The service was also really good. We will be back!

Great history and nice atmosphere, but the food is disappointing. Pancake batter is basic, blueberries frozen, and the coffee tastes like Folgers. My son’s granola was the only decent dish. They try to be upscale, but in the Gold Coast you expect more than bland, non-organic food.

I was visiting Chicago and my lady friend took me to her favorite breakfast spot, Third Coast Café—and now I see why it’s her favorite. The restaurant has a cozy feel with a hint of vintage charm and a nice mix of people that makes it feel welcoming.
When I saw Chilaquiles on the menu, I was hesitant—this isn’t a Mexican restaurant, and I’m pretty particular about Mexican dishes since I grew up in a Mexican household. But I decided to give them a try, and wow—I was blown away. They were so, so good.
Big shoutout to the cooks and chef who made this dish. I’m already looking forward to coming back for the Chilaquiles!

I didn’t expect to be shot into the astral plane… but the BLT at this place did that to me. I added Avocado to it and felt like I had an out of body experience and watched myself eat it. Their menu is constantly changing for dinner, went for dinner with my mom and girlfriend and the beef stew was incredible. The owner is down to earth and amazing. I believe my servers name was Charlee when I got the BLT, but she had great recommendations and gave great direction (the peanut soup is insane). GM Daniel is a really nice guy as well. This place is amazing, highly recommend.

One of me and my friends all time favorite places to eat! We love coming here, the atmosphere is so cute and it feels like a little hideaway in the city. We tell people all the time to come here. I highly recommend the Italian beef sandwich and the fresh lemonade <3
