My sister invited me here for Wednesday’s DJ Trivia Night.
As a Google Level-7 Master Reviewer, a Local Guide, and a restaurant reviewer in the top 10 percent in RI, I hope this review persuades readers to give 39 West a try.
I was one in a party of four; we were instantly seated. Each of us was equally satisfied with both the quality of our meals and the service. From the first bite, it was obvious that 39 West invests in the best and most authentic ingredients, yet somehow manages to keep its prices competitive compared to local less-than-average restaurants. The portions were abundant and arranged to pique one’s appetite. My eyes and palette were satisfied with each bite. The only upset was achieving the inevitable empty plate.
The wait staff was friendly and accommodating without being intrusive. The spacing between the tables facilitated easy navigation. The place was clean and minimally decorated will old-world charm. The bar selection was more than ample and the patrons at the bar were quiet and civilized.
And, for those wondering, we won the trivia contest.

Recently attended a collation for a family member and Steve went above and beyond for our family to ensure the event was exactly as it was meant to be. The set up was perfect with sitting on the sides and mingling tall tables in the middle of the room. When we arrived, the drinks, appetizers were ready for us! The food was delicious and hot. I especially loved the slightly spicy stuffed mushroom caps! There was flat bread pizzas, bacon wrapped scallops, everything was delicious! The sangria was also perfect! The staff were all excellent and came around collecting plates, cups ect. They made the entire experience very comfortable. Right on the main road- easy to access with plenty of parking.

Got chicken marsala delivered. The rolls included were nice and warm. Mashed was very good. The chicken marsala was a little above average. The vegetables on the side were mostly green peppers. I had a couple of pieces of zucchini and carrots but left all the peppers. Would try the pasta next time.

Had my Daughter’s bridal shower there today. The food was amazing and each and EVERY staff member went out of their way to make sure everything was to perfection. Very accommodating and a pleasure to work with.

Went to 39 for an early dinner. We were seated quickly and the server was super nice and helpful. The food was delicious (I had chicken marsala with a side of pine under a red sauce). I was surprised when the drinks came out in plastic cups. When we finished we asked for coffee and a desert menu. They had no coffee and no deserts! We paid the check and, a pet peeve of mine, the server took the signed check before we left. Anyway, lots of parking, no wait, reasonable prices,, and good food. Oh, they also have a DJ and dancing on the weekend.
