We had a wonderful experience at 39 Restaurant. The hospitality and recommendations from our server and bartender were phenomenal. The food is as delicious as it looks. We went for lunch and the prices were also unexpectedly affordable—especially for such a unique culinary experience. I can’t recommend enough, and I’m looking forward to my next trip here.

Little afraid to expose this place, it is a true hidden Gem. The only reason it is not more popular is the location, I am sure. It is hard to find, go all the way to the back of the center through the pay gates, and be sure to get your ticket validated so you do not pay for parking. But so well worth it. The service was impeccable, the atmosphere great. The food and drinks were next level. It is not cheap, but it is very good and different from what you get in the average restaurant. I will be back. More vegetarian options would be good, mostly sides for vegetarians. I would suggest better signage. 3 of us met there, and 2 had a really hard time. With the money this gorgeous place cost, the signage is lacking. That falls more on the center than the restaurant.

This was an experience. Trying new cuisines is an adventure. Starting with the Strawberry Fields cocktail, delivered to us by the very good bartender, which was delicious. Then, the most delicious salted caramel cinnamon roll arrived. My order of biscuits and gravy was definitely different for Oklahoma as it was all made with duck. It was quite tasty. I also tried my brunch guests’ cornmeal blueberry pancakes, which was everything I expected. I look forward to trying this place for dinner sometime. We took time after the meal to explore Chef Oden’s garden, which is quite beautiful. The staff was attentive, professional, and very friendly, especially our server Kat.

Best restaurant in okc! We moved here last year and have been trying different fancy places. Hands down this place is the best we have eaten at! The atmosphere, view, service, menu options and most of all the taste – all incredible!! We tried bison steaks- delicious!! We tried the white bean hummus to start – incredible (shown in the photo)!! We will be back very soon. We were too full to try dessert. The beer and wine list is excellent. We had a small batch Italian merlot. I had an espresso martini – perfectly executed! Don’t wait to try this place! It’s a gem!!

The bison stew was absolutely delicious. So much flavours! And the prickerita cocktail was perfect. It’s a lovely place with excellent service. Note: there aren’t any desserts during brunch.

39 Restaurant at the First Americans Museum is one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had. The Hominy & White Bean Hummus was so delicious, and the Bison Ribeye with the mash and mushrooms was cooked perfectly. I loved that the menu highlights Indigenous foods and traditions, and the staff was so kind, patient, and informative. It’s such a unique experience, and I think anyone visiting Oklahoma needs to try it.

Ingredients & flavor profiles you won’t find anywhere else! Every dish has intention behind it. One of my favorite places.

Wow. Do not miss this place. The food is so very good. The service is excellent. The owner and chef is charming. Ask her questions, listen to the story of her food. 39 is an experience.

The food was absolutely amazing — the venison tenderloin, in particular, was phenomenal and melted in my mouth with every bite. Chef Loretta and Chef Ben have crafted a beautifully unique menu full of bold, flavorful creations that are unlike anything else in the city. The wine list is incredible, with thoughtfully selected options that perfectly complement each dish. The service was just as impressive- attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely welcoming! It wasn’t just our server; the entire team contributed to a seamless and elevated dining experience.
The atmosphere added even more magic to the evening, with stunning views of the river and downtown OKC creating the perfect backdrop. This place isn’t just a restaurant — it’s a true experience. Highly-HIGHLY recommend!

We dined at 39 a few weeks ago and it was absolutely delicious. Decided to go back for a birthday/anniversary dinner and it was a huge disaster. It took forever to get anything, and there were two tables. The charcuterie was not anywhere near as good, evidently our meals were burnt and had to be recooked which caused the other two meals to be cold and overcooked. The crème brule was not good. Lots of ingredients and items missing. It did not feel like a celebration, it was actually super depressing. At the end of dinner, we were told we had to leave due to a fire hazard. Our server was so unengaged that we ended up tipping another server just to refill our water and get us some more drinks from the bar. On top of that, dinner was insanely expensive. This was literally the worst birthday ever.
