I was passing through on a road trip and this place caught my eye. Great food, great service, authentic TexMex food. As good as the TexMex we have in Texas, maybe better. Excellent fresh home made hot sauce with a kick. They also have a full service bar, but I was driving and could not partake. All in all, an excellent restaurant with a small town feel right in Memphis not too far off of I-40.

Monday night 06/16/25 around 8:30pm my girlfriend and I stop by restaurant. I told her good things about this place because my mother and I eat there alot dinning in and carry out. Never had a problem. This night we were in a rush because, I work out of town. She ordered her food and guy ask her chicken or beef. She told him beef I paid for it. No tip because we got drinks at bar. My girlfriend open her food, its good she looked because what i paid for was not in the bag. I spent almost $58 drinks food and tip.
That made me look bad. Telling her how good food was the food wasn’t in bag.

Not open, as late, as stated. Came at 9:30 on a Saturday and they were closed. Last visit, they did have good food and the service was acceptable.

Early dinner arrival, no line or waiting to be seated. Hostess friendly and server was attentive and courteous. Food was served in good time. The food was delicious. We are items we had not seen on other Mexican restaurant menus… was a nice change or variation to the norm.
Other guests were enjoying their food as well and having good time. Appeared to be a good place to gather for friends and family.

Ordered 2 x $4 sodas, $4 cheese dip, $13 combo, $5 quesadilla = $30 / Like a FOOL I handed her my credit card when she brought the check…without looking. Then like an EMBECILE I added $10 to the $46 total and signed…FOR FIFTY SIX DOLLARS. I called 20 minutes later to learn they automatically add 15% gratuity to the check (2 diners at a Mexican restaurant on Macon in Memphis!?!?) They failed to explain the other $10.
No good deed goes unpunished, they say.
The shame is the food was quite good. I told them I won’t be back for their good food however because I can’t trust them (if they toy with the check, what do they do in the kitchen?)
I was reminded of the necessity of reviewing the check before paying it, after 45 years of dining out. MY BAD, but they >facilitated< me paying $56 for $30 worth of food...and couldn't explain why.

I’m here at least 4 times a month. The service is Awesome! The food Great! The Atmosphere Awesome! Drinks on Point!!! I’ve been coming here for about 1 year and 1/2.

This is a decent Mexican restaurant. Food was pretty good, service was as expected, nothing bad but nothing to brag on. Drinks are about the same as other Mexican restaurants (strong IMO). I do like they have an outdoor patio as well.

As I am sitting here I regret coming! Service from our waitress,Taila was horrible! Asking questions about drinks and menu item she had a smart reply. I ordered a frozen strawberry cognac margarita and it was not frozen. We were rushed to have our orders taken so I ordered the ribeye steak medium well potato and house salad. It came steak was well done tasted sour. I asked for another potato cause it had sour cream on it and I didn’t want it, only to come back and say I was charged for the new one. Not a problem, however her service could have been much better and she should have stated I would be charged for the new potato since I failed to say no sour cream! I will never come in here ever again and would tell people to stay away!
