They have the best candied bacon, but they also prove why I hate ordering food to go from anywhere. Why does it seem like restaurants always skimp on portion size when you order to go??? It feels like if you’re not sitting right there where they might have to deal with the repercussions of an unhappy customer, they just do whatever. We only ordered two items to go:
{Candied Bacon} – $9 and we got about 10 pieces which was more than I expected…
vs.
{Crab Cakes} – $18 for two tiny crab cakes…
See my pics for comparison purposes…I know neither bacon nor crab is cheap but I can’t reconcile this price difference. And it leaves me wondering what portion size of crab cakes we would have gotten if we had stayed to eat. We plan to go back to test this theory but very disappointing in the mean time. With my husband and I sharing, we each got a crab cake and there’s no way I would consider each worth $9.

Steak was good had garlic butter added to it. Mashed potatoes and asparagus were okay. The Laki Colada cocktail was very good! Service was great!

We were staying at the Harrah’s, so we came here for a nice dinner for a birthday celebration. It turned out to be a great choice.
The service was excellent. Our server was wonderful about making sure we had drinks and that our food was to our liking. She made one small error with our order, but was quick to make it right.
We split a porterhouse. It was excellent. The flavor was nice, done just about perfectly. We also had the herb & butter mashed potatoes, which was excellent. for dessert, they brought us a birthday cake and ice cream with crunched up candy bar pieces. It was a great end to a great meal.
The prices are a little up there, but the quality and service were worth it to me. I recommend checking it out. It’s even worth a visit if you’re not staying at the hotel.

I had a delicious steak and asparagus. The staff were friendly, professional, attentive. Amy was our waitress and she did a really good job taking care of us. The bartenders were knowledgeable about their wines and good cocktails.

Delicious! Steak was worth the visit alone and the family style sides meant you could feed 4 with one side alone. Our server also gave us a sample of the spicy candied bacon that they make there that was life changing. It was out of this world delicious. I would never have tried it otherwise. Salads were delicious. Wine was plentiful and of more than adequate selection. Would love to return.

Great steaks
We went on a Saturday night. Initially wasn’t too busy, but picked up not long after. The waitress was helpful when ordering, but seemed to be stretched alittle thin. But experience was still good. Steaks were cooked to perfection. Normally I wouldn’t pay this much for steak, but well worth it!

On my way back from a day trip to Weston, a friend & I popped in to ’37 for a bite to eat. This was my first time & I thoroughly enjoyed it. Great atmosphere. Enjoyed a wonderful pork chop meal! Our server Victor was absolutely awesome!!
We even enjoyed a round of drinks from a handsome “stealthy” gentleman. Unfortunately he was such a stealth that I wasn’t able to thank him before he left. We really enjoy the restaurant and looking forward to a return visit!
