I went to this restaurant with my family during the evening.
It was a little bit busy(which is expected)
My waitress was super kind and polite.
My family enjoyed their food and dessert
My Meatloaf was very delicious, and could’ve use a bit more sauce on it.
My dessert which was banana pudding cheesecake was fantastic.
I’d recommend this restaurant to anybody.
Also if you get there at the right time they play music.

My husband and I LOVE 37 Cedar. It is our go-to date restaurant. The steak and pasta is by far the best dish. Their steak is delicious and always cooked to perfection. We love the atmosphere and typically go after the brunch rush on Saturdays. The staff is absolutely TOP NOTCH! They make the experience so wonderful every time.

If you know me, you know that I love a good brunch, and you also know I love a good piece of fried chicken to be included! Options for that is limited in Cookeville. I was really hungry so I ordered the chicken plate, this included two big pieces of fried chicken along with eggs cooked to order and fried potatoes, the only thing it was missing was biscuit and gravy so we ordered that on the side and shared it. This was way too much food and I ended up taking half of it home, not complaining though. My wife ordered The hash bowl, it came with an entire plate of fried potatoes, had some kind of smoked sausage pieces in it, they were very scarce, and then topped off with eggs, she liked it but wouldn’t get it again, and it actually cost a dollar more than my big platter of goodness. We ordered the French toast for our twin toddlers, it was plenty of food for the both of them and came with a side of bacon that was very good. Next time I will try the Hot chicken Benedict, I saw a plate of it come by and it looked phenomenal, I like how they serve their Benedict on a biscuit instead of a little muffin. I’ll wrap this long review up with a small minor complaint. I ordered the bloody Mary, it was good but no frills with garnishments which is what I’ve come to expect in this town, no reason to ever take a picture of a bloody Mary around here, my wife got a pineapple Moscato sangria and it was very tasty. The only problem was that the servers were all waiting for food to come up in the window Instead of checking on customers. The bartender made our drinks and just let them sit there for a pretty good while without notifying our server. I would suggest having a dedicated food runner or a pager for each server to go off when they have food come up.
I will definitely be back when I can.
So far this brunch is in my top two places, the other one would be Irrational Kitchen, number three on my list would be Strong Kitchen, only in third place because I can’t get my bloody Mary, But I can also go there any morning but Sunday and get an amazing breakfast!

OMG, these smoked salmon croquettes at 37 Cedar are absolutely the bomb. The taste is phenomenal. Way to go this is an absolute knockout of the park appetizer. So glad I stopped in here before joining my husband for dinner tonight.

The atmosphere was cozy and inviting. We were seated immediately and our waitress came to our table quickly. All of our food choices were good. I think each of us decided our food could have used more sauce. The meatball sandwich was good but could have used more marinara. Both the chicken sandwich and the chipotle flatbread were good but could have used more sauce, too. I’m sure they would have provided more sauce if we would have requested it. I would recommend asking for extra sauce if you order any of the entrees we had. The French fries were great!

Great vibe, solid food—but one slip that shouldn’t be ignored. First time here and the place has a really nice bar and energy. Plenty of parking next door which is a plus. The steak and mushroom pasta was phenomenal, and the flavor of the salmon croquettes was amazing. But I found a huge bone in one of them—and considering the fish had been ground and shaped into a ball, you’d expect a quality check to catch that. The response was a bit too casual, just a quick “want another one?” with no real concern. Great spot overall, but that moment stuck with me.

Went in with a party of 13 and even with the big party and the scratch-made items, they got food out pretty quick. Ordered a burger with cheese, and to be honest, it wasn’t that good. The burger was super thick, and the cheese was just a thin layer of shredded cheese. Fries were a little over-seasoned, and there weren’t that many chips with the chips and salsa. Salsa was really good, however, and the atmosphere looked really relaxing and pleasing. I suppose I’d recommend this place to someone who’s going solo.

Always consistent with great food and service. The atmosphere is the best in Cookeville and drink selection is outstanding. All the servers are great and especially Rachel. She always makes us feel like family. The owner is there a lot and always friendly. It is definitely our favorite restaurant. Prices are very good.

I was feeling peckish after napping on the couch at Tell No Tales whilst my buddy was getting inked.

It’s nice. Decent food selection, local beers on tap and it was bright and clean.

I ordered a beer and the keg kicked while the bartender was pouring it. Got a third of a glass of foam and the full glass of beer price.

For food I got the Tuna appetizer and it was quality tuna but the mest without dipping sauce was very underseasoned. Sauces were good and enhanced the flavor of the tuna.

Overall, it was good but not great.

Here’s the Breakdown:

Decent food +1 star; good beer selection +1 star; nice menu +1 star; clean and bright +1 star.

I would go back to try it again.

I was so disappointed. It was cold and the service was hurried. A proper wedge salad is a wedge of lettuce with crumbled blue cheese, a warm tomato compot, fresh cooked bacon and drizzled with a balsamic glaze. What I got was a half of head of lettuce with very little toppings. Do better!
