Now, if it was one bad meal it wouldn’t be as big of a deal. However, had a 4-course meal and 2 drinks each. The only thing they didn’t mess up was my gf’s wine. The dirty sanchez was too bitter for my liking and no salt rim?? And the tiniest little lonesome dried lime.
First course: Salad was a 6/10, lobster soup had some weird pieces of what looked like burned stuff in there and was so salty that neither of us could finish it.
Second course: They were out of salmon so we got the tuna tartare and some raw beef dish. I swear they sprinkled Lays chips on the beef. The tuna tartare must have been what made us sick. It was the only thing we could down without cringing because it was loaded with sauce. Sadly that probably just covered the taste of the tuna that had gone bad. I say that because we found out on the main course just how bad this place is.
The main course was a beef Wellington and a sea bass dish. The steak was practically raw with a thin crust. Now that would be delicious any other day. How could you possibly get a Beef Wellington wrong? Well it’s by using meat that has gone bad. I took one small bite and knew right away. My gf knew when she tried it too. Her sea bass was a strip of sea bass, plain white rice, and a smear of sweet potato. But the after-taste was horrific, tasted like it had gone bad too. We sent them both back after we each tried a bite of the dishes.
Dessert was nothing to write home about. Mousse was a step above Walmart pudding and the other plate just looked like they picked it up from Publix.
We are upset because they ruined our night with their negligence. We were looking around, nobody finished that Beef Wellington and everyone was sending food back or taking it to go, probably to be nice.
Service was okay except when the server said you’ll be fine here when we asked if we can change tables.
Okay final photo is the aftermath. You can have your $300 4-course dinner back
For appetizers we had the cheese board and the brussel sprouts and cauliflower. I typically don’t care for cauliflower but this was very good. Everyone loved the cheese board, but I really enjoyed the assortment of caramelized nuts.
Finally dessert was fantastic. We ordered several things and shared. The creme brulee or the banana foster cheese cake were my favorite.
My French Press was not the same as from a previous luncheon it was very bitter. I look for consistency when dining. Which is why I can’t give 5 Stars in this area.
Nick, the owner is very professional. Isabella and my server, Casey were excellent!
An exceptional wine list. Well balanced and so many by the glass choices
The Meuniere broth that the mussels came it was incredible. More like a creamy sauce Escargot. I actually asked for a soup spoon to slurp it up ❤️. The Roasted Beets were served over Labne! Never imagined that combo. Works so well
The duck breast was also excellent with a root hash with the perfect acidity to cut through the rendered fat. A side of incredibly tender and crispy Truffles fries topped this meal. I couldn’t stop eating them
Ended with the bananas Foster cheese cake. Delightful. Thank you for a great meal folks
