This has been one of our favorite places to go for events since we moved here
Here’s my honest review:
✨Location✨
Smack dab in the middle of downtown Cedar rapids. I personally hate that you have to pay for parking but I can’t deny it’s a great location. So we usually Uber
✨Price✨
I think they’re specials are always so amazingly priced. We didn’t have a kitchen for Thanksgiving so we went here. I love that my husband was able to get a turkey dinner while I was able to get a burger since I’m not a fan of Thanksgiving food. We also went for their fireball Friendsgiving and they were doing $3 meatballs and $5 wings. Phenomenal prices
✨Ambiance✨
I absolutely love going at night because you get to see the city lit up. It’s extremely cute. Inside is very swanky and quiet and everything is pretty spread out so even when there’s a lot of people it doesn’t feel overwhelming
✨Drinks✨
Their drinks always tastes great and they often have very creative specials
✨Recommendation✨
You have to check out their events. They are always having really cool events for the area. Being from DC I definitely crave going out and having that event experience and I’m always happy to check their event calendar
✨Customer Service✨
Their people are always kind and always go the extra mile of checking for me. I really have no complaints

Unexpected roof top bar in this hotel. I came in for dinner after my flight and was able to find a nice spot of my choosing by the window for the views. Picked out this pork belly dish just as a little snack before bed. It was pretty decent bar food, flavorful, albeit a little on the salty end. It might’ve been better had I ordered something else to pair it with. Staff were friendly and it was an easy quick meal. I saw there were quite a few groups of business folks up here late at night talking shop as well. Seemed like a good spot to knock a few back.

Cool bar. Great views of the city. Real big city feel for a Milltown on an interstate spur. Decent selection of spirits. Average beer and wine selections. Food is above average, only because it is elevated bar food quality is average. It was expensive but worth a stop at night for the views and atmosphere. Convention center and hotel underneath so, many business travelers and convention types. I could recommend this for someone staying at the hotel or anyone off of the street.

Bang bang wings – ranch to dip
Hope Burger D with fries
Corn elote
Chocolate cake slice

The wings could have been more crispy by over all I would put them at a solid 8/10

The corn elote was absolutely terrible, corn tasted undercooked and they didn’t dress it, they gave me the stuff in the side and it wasn’t nearly enough. – 2/10

Burger was for my wife, she said it was good, liked the bacon relish with the caramelized onion. The fries which i did try were PHENOMENAL, one of the best I’ve had yet. 8/10

Chocolate cake slice – it was so decadent that the plastic fork couldn’t get through it without wanting to bend and break. It was VERY good. 8.5/10

My steak was bit dry and bland, everyone else thought it was good. The manager came and asked i gave my honest opinion he thanked me and took a bit off the price. It’s a bit pricey in my opinion for what it actually is. It is a fun thing to do occasionally, its a pretty view even if it is just a pile of trash covered in dirt.

I have a msg allergy and Tim made the cedar salmon with a corn risotto so I could eat. Words can’t explain how good this was. All I can say is it was absolutely amazing.

Great environment, definitely more upscale but not over the top. Food was very good. On the pricier side, but the food and service was in line with the prices. The coconut shrimp appetizer was really good, and the steak was also very good. Great service, and can’t beat the views.

Homestyle meal that took me back home to hawaii (KanakAttack). The best part was the chefs and their Daimond Excellence of customer service. Went far beyond what I expected. Thank you so much Aloha.

Dined on a Sunday, there were 2 staff members working. It took 30 minutes after being seated to order food after having to ask if someone could take our order. I was told multiple times that they were short staffed. At any time there were 6 tables dining in the restaurant. I’ve Dined here years ago and the quality has plummeted.
