Really disappointing. First time coming back since it’s been redone. No oysters, waitress took our order then we never saw her again. Had no condiments, steak was over cooked burnt, was brought no knife to cut the beef jerky. No drink refills. Our son didn’t even eat the chicken tenders; and he will eat those anywhere! Just overall disappointed that it had changed so much. Now we know why the building was empty. Lots of yelling going on in the back, really terrible atmosphere.

The food was very good. Loved the ateamed and fried oysters. Had clam chowder soup which was the beat ever. We ate at the oyster bar the guys were so kind and nice to talk to. Very attentive. Would diffently go again and again.

Our first time. N may be last. Our waitress was awesome, great girl! We arrived shortly aft opening time, but waited 45m for our food. Portions were vry scarce for prices charged. Seafood was overcooked, slaw wayyyyy too much mustard. Tea vry weak. Hushpuppies were tasty.

Staff was courteous but not very organized. We had to ask several times for side items that were forgotten. Steamed oysters were very small and tasteless. At least 4 in my 1/2 peck were discarded by my shucker as bad but not replaced.

– Ordered lemonade for my daughter. Was told they had mist twist. I had never heard of that, so I asked if it was carbonated and explained that she does not tolerate carbonation. I was told that it was not carbonated, so we ordered that. When it came, she took one sip and spat it out because, yes, it was carbonated.

Oysters didn’t smell quite right. Ordered 2 pecks of Oysters. It was the smallest pecks I have ever seen. Perhaps 3-4 dozen oysters between the 2 pecks. I think they got the baskets mixed up. Went to Southern Salt in Morehead City and got a 1/2 peck and it was larger than the full pecks we got from 33. Had nice experiences in the past but wasn’t impressed on this visit at all

Great facilities, wonderfully pleasant and thoughtful wait staff along with excellent food! We had a party of 8 and with the reasonable total of the bill I was pleasantly surprised! Will definitely be back!
