We came here after a recommendation, and it was really good but the ribs and sausage could’ve been better. However the pulled pork, brisket, redneck eggroll, cornbread & Donuts were amazing! 10/10 I also got the mango lemonade crusher which was really good. The customer service was also amazing from start to finish. I would definitely recommend.

I wanted so much to like this place and add it to my lunch locations but I was disappointed. I’ll chalk it up to opening week trying to get all the ducks in a row that being said if it wasn’t for their lunch time specials menu I am not sure I would have eaten there based on their regular menu item pricing. I had a rice bowl with brisket. Rice was good avocados were good but the brisket was hard and tasted like it wasn’t fresh. They have German style crispy potato salad listed so I had to try that. It was anything but crispy german potato salad and wasn’t something my taste buds enjoyed. Though I would take back to the office a half a dozen doughnuts for my coworkers and the doughnuts on display look delicious but as they say looks can be deceiving. $4 a doughnut that is basically a roll of stale dough with pretty toppings. No one cared for them although they commented how great they looked the taste to everyone was disappointing with two people reporting they got stomach aches. This location in the Washington house could be a great lunch spot so I will give these new tenants some time to iron it out and try in a couple months if they are still functioning there.

322 BBQ is located at the old Stone Balloon location. It doesn’t have a BBQ place feel to it, still the same decor from Stone Balloon except all the nostalgia memorabilia. The menu is very confusing, and VERY EXPENSIVE! We ordered BBQ Pork sandwich which was $16.99 that was just for the sandwich and it had no bbq sauce on it, we had to ask for bbq sauce and was brought a squeeze bottle out. Fries were extra they come in small, medium and large. We did small and they were $4.99. Daughter had All American smash burger, it came with 2 patties, lettuce, tomato and onion and pickle on the side for $26.99. No fries included. We all had sodas and our bill for 3 people came to $73.84. I have had better bbq at cheaper prices that included sides.

Food was terrible:/ , don’t think I’ll be comin back for breakfast, eggs were good but everything else tasted bad , pancakes were to thick/dry , and the brisket that came with the meal only four pieces of it and the rest loaded with onions and peppers , the sausage was terrible idk why it is a patty damn thing looked like a burger , what ever they used for it they need Togo back to the drawing board, I rather have Potato’s then the brisket , pancakes to big need to be smaller , best thing was probably the orange juice and the eggs

This is the second time I’ve ordered from here take out specifically and I’m just not a fan. When you spend $44 on a platter, you expected to be fresh and hot when you pick it up. You also expect to have utensils and napkins in the bag when you pick it up What I did it and it wasn’t hot at all in fact, it was actually cold.
I ordered a platter with brisket ribs and smoked sausage with sides of poppers and the ranch seasoned potatoes To start the smoked sausage seems like it was dropped in a deep fryer as it was covered in oil, they were also pretty dry and lacked flavor. The ribs were pretty tender, but lost any flavor. They must put a rub on them, but it was not noticeable only in the color on top of the bark of the rib. The brisket, for being a fatty portion of brisket. It was dry and again lacked flavor. there was a film of oil covering the bottom of the takeout container for the meats. The poppers look like they were 2 to 3 days old as the cheese was extremely dry and they were ice cold. The bacon was questionable. I only took one bite of one, and that was it. The ranch seasoned potatoes were salty. They had no ranch flavoring and It seems like they were sitting in Oil for a while were not properly drained once they came out of the fryer. Overall, I really wanted to give this place an opportunity to work out the kinks because my last visit was doing their soft opening, but It’s definitely not worth the money that you spend for the quality food that you get for takeout.
Tip to the person packing out takeout orders make sure that you’re putting a utensils and napkins in the bag before you send it out door. Maybe offer some sauce on the side too because your meat is dry and tasteless.

I was excited to try 322 BBQ on Main Street in Newark but the only reason I MAY go back is to try a donut. For a ‘new’ restaurant that just opened it sure didn’t feel new. I think there were still some old fries on the ground from when it was Stone Balloon Alehouse, among lots of other trash and food items. Not to mention the trail of french fries from the front to the back that seems to have fallen out of a trash bag.
What drew me was the Smashed Burger menu. They looked great and i love a good smash burger, but what came out was anything but.
I ordered the D&S Burger, which it said was an award winning burger. If whatever was served to me was award winning then I have to wonder who the judges were that liked this. First off if I knew these would be two full sized patties that came out as well done briquettes, I would have ordered them medium rare. I wasn’t given the option nor thought I needed to specify such an option for a smashed burger. It was very dry, i could see nor taste any blue cheese, and the onion bacon spread was applied so thin that i had to look twice for onion and then for bacon. Severely disappointed, and only ended up eating a quarter of it.
I was ok with the price point until i realized it didn’t even come with fries. We ordered a medium side of spinach that was FOURTEEN DOLLARS!!
Not worth the time or the money.

Decent food with large portions, cool inside and nice location. Not recommended for kids. Prices are outrageous for kids items, they didn’t even have a kids menu and we were charged nearly $10 in sodas for 2 small kids sodas. Ended up being $100 check for lunch for 2 adults and 2 kids even sharing a meal… no problem paying for a good food but I feel we were totally ripped off here. The server/bartender was nice but smelled bad.
