We had the pleasure of experiencing dining at Hill Donut Co. & Pancakes, where we enjoyed a delightful Breakfast/Brunch. The establishment operates with a dual identity, serving barbecue in the evenings under 322 BBQ & Bar name. Unfortunately, the photographs that were taken do not accurately capture the culinary delights. The Ranch Potato Bites were outstanding, complementing the omelet perfectly. The pancakes were notably fluffy. A highlight was the Donut French Toast Flight, which is highly recommended. Additionally, the grits were rich and creamy with a delightful buttery flavor, and the bacon was thick-cut and smoky. We highly recommend visiting this Wilmington, Delaware, gem.

We absolutely love 322 BBQ & Bar and Hill Donut Co & Pancake House on Marsh Rd in Wilmington. It’s one of our favorite local spots for everything from brunch to BBQ and great drinks. The combination of slow-smoked, craft-minded BBQ with a full bar and huge house-made brioche donuts is something truly special. The BBQ here is rich, flavorful, and generous, with 12-hour oak-smoked meats and Southern sides that hit the spot every time.

The donuts at Hill Donut Co are absolutely delicious! Fresh, big brioche donuts made daily in tons of fun flavors and the brunch options are fantastic too. It’s the perfect place for a weekend brunch with bottomless brunch vibes and great cocktails alongside a sweet treat.

The cocktail list and drinks at 322 BBQ are excellent, with a fun bar atmosphere that pairs perfectly with their food. Whether you’re going for BBQ dinner, brunch with donuts, or drinks with friends, the service is friendly and the vibe is laid-back and welcoming.

Highly recommend this spot for anyone in the Wilmington area looking for delicious BBQ, amazing donuts, solid brunch, and great drinks all in one place!

Pretty horrendous cheesesteak lol there was hardly any meet on there, but the meat that was there was flavorful but dry.
The fries were not cooked all the way and wet for some reason? I imagine oil. My server was polite and attentive. Trash on the floor around some tables that were sitting for a while not cleaned.

My husband and I have been here a few times. We have also brought our grandchildren here for breakfast. The doughnuts are incredible. The kids love them and they do have a great assortment of flavors. I personally think that the cream is a tad sweet that is in the center of the hole in each doughnut. But the glaze is perfect and they are just beautifully made. I ordered the creme brulee French toast and it was amazing. No syrup needed. My husband ordered pancakes and they were huge. We actually had to take the remainder home, which I got to enjoy later that day. Haven’t had a chance to try it their bar, but we plan to go and try the lunch menu very soon. Service was wonderful.

Restaurant Review: 322 BBQ in Wilmington, DE

From the moment I walked into 322 BBQ in Wilmington, DE, I knew I was in for a treat. The food had me doing the happy dance—I simply couldn’t stay in my seat!

Starting with the blueberry ginger lemonade, which was absolutely delicious, we decided to go “ham” on the menu (pun intended). We sampled a variety of dishes, and each one was a hit. The lobster mac and cheese was indulgent and creamy, the burger of the week served on an everything bagel was a unique delight, and the cornbread was just the right blend of sweet and savory.

The chicken wings were perfectly seasoned, the baked beans rich and flavorful, and the candied bacon was an irresistible treat. The ribs were fall-off-the-bone tender, and the portions were generous enough for sharing. The service was top-notch, making us feel like instant family with smiles all around.

We enjoyed our meal so much that we needed to-go containers, but the experience didn’t stop there. Inside, we discovered Hilltop Donut and Pancakes. The donuts were nothing short of mesmerizing—truly amazing.

322 BBQ is a must-visit spot. You will not be disappointed. I give it a resounding 10 out of 5 stars and will definitely be back again!

Overall, the place is amazing. I’ve been here a few times and never had an issue. Donuts are incredible and the brisket burrito is delicious! However, today I tried the salmon salad and the salmon was extremely fishy. I was really disappointed. I will still return but not getting the salad. The dressings were gross.. seemed they came out of a can. Besides that, well done.

Update: 2025- what happened to your burrito?! $21.99 for almost no brisket inside. This used to be really good. I’m sad that it went downhill. The old timey music was the best part of today’s visit.

$41 for a half rack of ribs and 2 sides seems excessive. I know prices have gone up but the seems a bit much. $20 for a pulled pork sandwich also seemed high. For the price the flavor was bland on both the ribs and the pulled pork. I tasted the house BBQ sauce and was not impressed. Ended up using my own sauce. I will say the coleslaw and baked beans were good. The beans were loaded with pork or brisket. The mac n cheese was not very good. Lacked flavor. Will not be going back due to lack of quality and prices.

I have followed this place a good while when it was in NJ before branching out to Delaware, finally got the opportunity to try it out ! I’ll start out by saying the candied bacon was the star of the show , I have never really eaten anything like that.. cornbread was decent enough.. could of been more moist warmer , giving the impression of it being a bit more fresh .. the potato salad was unrecognizable as well as the baked beans , for me this is one of those situations where deviating from tradition is hurting the results . The brisket was dry overcooked, same for the pulled pork , the pulled chicken was more like something you’d expect to eat over rice at a Spanish restaurant. None of it was what I expected to come out of the kitchen . The mac n cheese was ok , decent enough.
The donuts are beautiful, but nothing really to right home about , better donuts exist as well as BBQ . I kinda wished I had tried the location in NJ first so I’d know if this was a location issue, or just lack of actual BBQ knowhow.. Either way the staff was nice

BAD!!! Horrible!! I write this while I’m waiting to get my families dinner from the second place tonight. I ordered 1pound of brisket, 1/2 pound chicken, wings, fries and the beans. The food was so salty I could not eat anything.
Even the brisket bark tasted like pure salt, no seasoning or flavor. The chicken was juicy but not in a good bbq way, in a crock pot way. Nothing was good. I didn’t even let my dog have any. So here I am going back out for dinner.
Will never go back. $100 wasted. But at least I know now.
