Restaurant was great and so was the food, though it seemed a little expensive. We brought in a party of 15-20 as a part of a hockey team. It would seem that the staff might be familiar than that. We took up 3 tables, however since we were a group, we were told the check couldn’t be split up by family. There was no way to pay individually, nor was she willing to assist in any way splitting this up. This was so frustrating. We were there for about an hour, and her automatic 20% tip for the group was about $90. Meanwhile we spent 20 minutes separating out our kids and our meals, calculating the sales tax for Seattle washington, and adding the automatic 20% tip. I was very frustrating, but she told us it was their policy.

The next day, we went back because we really wanted to watch the US olympic game. This time we had a different waiter. He was great, and told us he was happy to split up the check. He did all the calculations and took payment very easily from more than 8 different families.

It seems as though one waitress has one set of rules, and another waiter has another set. Thanks to the waiter in the round glasses. You were great!

I’ve visited 32 Bar & Grill three different times, hoping the service would improve, but unfortunately it hasn’t. Each visit has felt understaffed, and it consistently takes a long time to order food or drinks.
Most recently, I came in to watch the Olympic gold medal game. The event was advertised as including a signed Kraken giveaway. However, at the end of the game, we were told it was “too busy” to do the giveaway — despite the fact that they had no issue collecting the $15 cover charge from everyone. Pretty disappointing. I’ll say that this venue is totally awesome and it has so much potential to be a great place to watch hockey however it needs better management.

First outing to 32 and won’t be the last. A clean modern vibe, it’s not loud, and overlooking people skating on the community ice rink is just a cool concept. Our server was super friendly and had water and drinks out quickly. He was attentive and checked back often. I had seen the positive reviews on the French Dip, and it is indeed a winner! Really liked the fries too. All our choices were well received. Fish & Chips, Fish Tacos, and the Pepperoni pizza. Prices were a tad higher than your average bar, but this place is something unique and made for a fun night out.

I live near northgate and I had no clue there was even a bar at the practice facility. Surprise surprise! It’s great to be able to sit in the restaurant and watch 3 ice rinks. So fun! I went for a Hawks game and the atmosphere was good and it was busy with people coming in and out with all the hockey player and kids. Kids are allowed so be prepared for that. The food was average and the beers were over priced. My chicken sandwich was $20. It’s expensive what you get. I would go back to watch the hockey players practice but I won’t be going back on a regular basis to hang out since it was over priced. It’s a fun place and great for big groups. Check it out!!! Super fun to see. Also the staff was great!!!

32 bar and grill was GREAT! The food was excellent, wings were hot, crispy and came out fast (and I got a bonus wing!) service was excellent and the price was good. The best thing about this place is the atmosphere. You’re RIGHT in front of the Seattle kraken! You watch them practice while you eat (assuming you go while you practice) super cool.

The venue is well lit with window seats that can see right into the ice hockey field. We ordered French dip, fish and chips and crab Mac and cheese. The Mac and cheese were overcooked and no seasoning, can’t taste the cheese or salt. The fish and chips were ok, the fries were luke warm, but the French dip was delicious .

If you’re after a unique venue to hang out this would be the perfect place, but if you want great food, I’d go elsewhere.

Not the worst meal I’ve ever had – it made the Top 20 list…

Seating is open, but that can hose the server in a given area pretty quickly. Happened to our server. He was slow to greet us and didn’t even bring our order – a runner did.

My food was not so good. Fries were cooked, but cold. Club sandwich bread had been soaked in oil / butter to cook it and was greasy – like crazy greasy ruin your napkin there was so much grease. I ended up eating just the insides. Oh, and it was supposed to have avocado – maybe a nickels worth on only one half. Disappointing…

And final note – this place isn’t cheap. Okay, you’re paying for the ambience, the possibility of seeing the team skate… Problem is – you don’t get what you paid for – not even close.

Word of advice – come to the complex to see the team or skate – it’s really a beautiful facility. But go someplace else to eat, you’ll thank me for that advice…

Lunch on 12/30, 11:30 AM…

The food was amazing and the portions were very reasonable. Everyone who helped serve us was very polite, knowledgeable, and personable. I’m both excited to hear that the menu may have some seasonal changes coming soon and sad because everything I tried was so good that I don’t want it to leave!

Located on the 2nd floor of the Kraken Community Center on the northwest end of the building.

My visits were during a 3-day hockey tournament, so my experience may be slightly different than the norm.

The decor within 32 Bar & Grill is incredible, packed with tons of hockey and Kraken inspired wall and ceiling coverings.

The bar is well equipped with what seems like miles of liquor as well as two draft towers with eight beers on draft! I’d say this place is well stocked!

The 32 Bar & Grill was packed every night, and day, during the tournament with almost all seats in the house taken, so finding a seat was pretty tough.

Unfortunately, for the majority of the tournament the bar wasn’t prepared for the drinking crowd. The crowd was fighting tooth and nail to get a drink from the bar.

At one time, with no one sitting at the bar, I grabbed a seat hoping to grab a pint before the next game. The bartender told me he wouldn’t be able to get to me because of the queue in the well. It wasn’t the end of the world but it was a bit disappointing.

I will say though, once you got a table, the servers did a great job! They all were very attentive even thought they were outnumbered.

Oh ya, alcohol isn’t allowed outside 32 Bar & Gril, so you can’t take it down by the ice to watch the games, gotta drink it in the bar. Oh well.

Overall the venue’s got a great atmosphere overlooking two sheets of ice, one being the Kraken practice sheet, and good food.

This place is GREAT. The bartenders and servers are always helpful. They check up regularly to see how I’m doing and if I need anything else. The Impossible burger is my go to. They use vegan cheese too which is really appreciated by most looking for the Impossible burger wanting a vegan option. All the food looks good. The salads especially look amazing, but I have yet to try them. The fellow patrons are friendly and it’s a great place to go even if you aren’t going to the rink to skate today. It’s a great place to watch Kraken games and is usually a packed house those nights. You just never know who you might sit next to, thats a Denver Broncos ring from a fellow patron I met one night. Great stories and great times.
