Not many places get 5 stars from me! The food was fresh, and very tasty! The waitress was pleasant, knowledgeable and patient. The atmosphere was fun, and clean. The prices were as expected from a local restaurant, between $13-$15.

‘Wake Up San Francisco Burger’ with egg added was good except for that sweet relish or whatever it was. Had to scrape that off.
‘Okie Smashed Onion Burger’ and ‘All American Burger’ were just burgers. Nothing to write home about, especially for the price.
‘Fried Mac & Cheese’ were terrible! Just taste like fake procesed cheese powder. Could not even choke down a whole one. Trashed them

It’s a shame I didn’t get a picture like I normally do because they looked just as good as they tasted, but man was I sleeping on their wings and their Dirty Sauce. I love their beer selection and burgers but am so glad I gave their wings a try. I asked if I needed them extra crispy and Cameron guided me perfectly letting me know that it was not necessary as they are smoked and then fried.
Great service, great food, cold beer, and almost patio season.

The good here is fantastic!!! All high quality food. Interesting choices. Highly suggest the strawberry hill, Frankenstein burger and anything with their house made fries. Cool location and great atmosphere. You won’t be disappointed

In the social media age you have to be on game when you’re running a restaurant. You never know when a food critic or food blogger is going to come into your establishment. I came in today and was severely disappointed in my entire experience. When I entered I saw a “wait to be seated” sign but nobody in the host area. I went to peek into the restaurant area when a young lady asked if I needed help. I told her I wanted to order some food. She took my order at the host stand and I wasn’t even offered a seat inside the restaurant or the bar area. I did take it upon myself to have a seat in the bar area where I had an encounter with, who I believe to be, the bartender who snidely looked at me and I said I was just waiting for my order. He obviously wasn’t listening because he followed up with “Did you talk to somebody in the front yet?”. I got my order fairly quick in a to-go bag, but I don’t remember asking for my food to-go. Good customer service can make or break a business. That’s my service critique.
Now for the food. I got the All American Burger w/o cheese. When I went to look at the burger itself I noticed that the burger was dry… no sauce. My first bite I found the burger to be bland with a very tiniest hint of salt and pepper with no additional flavor from the missing sauce. This was only the 2nd time I haven’t finished a burger while doing a review. I honestly don’t know how an establishment with “Burger” in the name can miss so bad making a burger. For seasoning, salt and pepper go a long way. I also use some of paprika in my burgers for just a little something else. As for sauce? If you’re not going to season your patties, sauce adds a little something extra. Whether it’s just mayo or ketchup with mustard or if you create your own house sauce, you have to have something on there to make your burger palatable.
The atmosphere? The music was quite loud. If people had been there trying to talk, they would have had to try and talk above the music.
Please take this review as constructive criticism as it’s intended.

317 Burger is a Broad Ripple staple and for good reason! We LOVE this place! We typically do takeout and are never disappointed but if you can make it in to eat, the food is even better. We love the Strawberry Hill, Black and Blue, dirty wings, and Kung Pao Brussels sprouts. Megan provided wonderful service and we always love coming in for a bite!

Amazing burgers and fries. Dog friendly! Sit with your furry friend on their patio and enjoy some incredible food. If you’re into pickles, I highly recommend upgrading your side to the dill pickle fries — the delicious crunch is definitely worth it.

I’ve been visiting 317 burger regularly since my return to Indy and have been thoroughly enjoying each burger experience. That now pales in comparison to the joy felt having their spicy chicken sandwich. From how well the juicy, crispy chicken was prepared down to the fiery dirty sauce it was tossed in—they could get away with calling themselves 317 Chicken. While you’re there, try the mashed potato balls (sounds odd, but SO GOOD) and skip the mac n cheese balls if you enjoy more pronounced flavors. Plus their team members (minus the owner) are always warm, welcoming, and attentive, but low key enough for me to enjoy some entertainment on my phone while wearing headphones. 10/10 would recommend.
There was a strange encounter with the owner wherein I was lounging with my feet on the chair across from me, apparently violating house rules. Instead of introducing himself to me, then bringing the rule to my attention, he walked up to me without any identifiers and gestured towards my feet. I was confused by this and asked, “Do you work here?” At this point he disclosed he was the owner and that “it’s a house rule”. I understand having standards for your business, but I was put off by his approach. This owner would greatly benefit from developing his social skills.
Carryout might be a better option since the food is great.

I’ve been meaning to try 317 Burger for quite a long time but have never gotten around to it.
I finally got to visit them last week.
And honestly, the experience was not as good as I wanted it to be.
The food was decent but not totally outstanding. The fresh cut fries were pretty tasty and well seasoned although, not as crispy as they look in the photos attached. The burger however was just pretty plain. Not that much seasoning. Nothing special about it. Still was hot and cooked the way I like it!
We also got chips and queso as an appetizer and it was decent.
Our waitress was also really nice and the vibe is also amazing! They have a couple walls full of clocks which I found impressive!
So overall, I’ll still return to try their other sandwiches. Still a joint I’d recommend trying out!

Miranda is an awesome server and manager!! She is always so witty and makes the night even more fun by having her around! She’s great at her job and great at suggesting dishes, describing dishes, and making people smile. The burgers were great! I enjoyed my 317 grilled cheese a lot, too. The pickles fries are pickle chips right now and still were really good! Highly recommend going there! We got to sit in the bar area and it was perfect!
