I have eaten here a few times and everything was fine. One time I dined in and the food was good and service was quick. Another time I used the drive through and my order was right and nothing was forgotten. These two experiences happened about two years ago. My last experience at 312 Beef and Sausage was just a few weeks ago and it wasn’t so good. I used the drive-through, and while the food was served in a timely manner and the worker was friendly, the quality of the food was just not good. I got the crispy chicken sandwich and it just didn’t taste good at all. The patty was thin and it tasted worse than a mcchicken. I also got onion rings which were just okay. The pizza puff was not tasty at all, so I only ate half of it and threw the rest away. It was weirdly spicy and tangy at the same time. Everything was still over $30 and was not worth it at all. It was very disappointing. I’m willing to give this place another try because I have had good experiences here, but some thing has got to change.

Beef seasoning is a bit spicier than the typical you’d see in Chicago, though still very nice if you like a little heat!

Ordered 2 gyro and was shocked to see how small they are and very little meat in each one.
Nothing compared to uncle nicks or tom and Jerry’s in Rockford
Also tasted like the gyro meat was pulled from the fridge/freezer and warmed up on a flat top
Maybe other items are good, will have to stop in again and try something different

Had the best burger I’ve had in years here, and my mom said her Chicago dog was amazing as well. We had cheese curds with marinara sauce, and even the marinara was better than it had any right to be. Bar stools are INCREDIBLY comfy.

Very friendly and quick service but the gyros meal was 12 bucks and 3 small pieces of tomato, a few onions and hardly any meat and what meat did get was over cooked or reheated. Never again for us!

Absolutely love this place so it sucks that I have to leave a bad review but a bad experience is a bad experience. I came through the drive thru and placed my order and the worker at window had confirmed that I was finished and told me to pull forward. When I got to the window he stated that he missed the last item that I had ordered, which was not an issue, so I repeated it back to him to which he then confirmed and apologized for missing it to begin with and then stated he was going to get started on the order. After waiting for our food, another employee brought out the meal and we left and went back home. When we got home we realized that the item he had confirmed back to us was still not in the bag we called the restaurant. A woman picked up and stated that unfortunately since we were not rung up for the item there was not much that she could do, in a rude/annoyed tone, and even then I proceeded to place the order for pickup. I did end up receiving my last item, still being charged fully after it was a mistake made by the worker. Either way, a little compassion or empathy towards the situation would have gone a long way. For what it’s worth, sadly I will wait to try again for awhile.

If you’re in Freeport skip Culvers, McDonald’s, Wendy’s and all the chain restaurants and come here. Burger was surprisingly good, Chicago dogs were great, fries where great. Everything was fresh with fresh tasting ingredients. Good music and great customer service

If you order to go…you better check to make sure its what you ordered! I’ve went through the drive-thru 2 weeks in a row…$25-$30 each trip…get home, and something is missing from my order, or wasn’t right!
They offered to fix it…but after I’m already all the way back on the other side of town.
Ordered light cheese on chili cheese fries…and this has been what I received twice now. No chili to be found even!

Vienna beef hot dogs and poppy seed buns!!!! They have the best fries around crinkle cut or skinny ones you can get them plain salted or with the Greek seasoning oh my God that is so good
