The Honest Review
Do not go here. I ordered a club sandwich with home fries grilled and an order of sausage to go. I wanted the blue plate special but was told they didn’t have that and was not substituting anything for it. The waitress was rude. I had to tell her 3 times I wanted home fries (not french fries) and I wanted them grilled not fried. The order was tiny and they fried them anyway. They were not cooked & were so hard I couldn’t eat them. I paid $2.99 for a bite of link sausage but ordered patty sausage. I included a picture of the (bite of) link sausage they gave me. The tip is automatically added when you order to go but I had to ask the waitress for my change (which was over $10). My entire order was only like $13 or $14 so for her to act like she didn’t want to give me my change was strange and when I kept trying to call her over she would look at me, tell me to hold on then just turn around and start starring at the cook working. I could understand if they were busy but there was one family of 4 sitting, eating when I arrived. After I ordered there was another gentleman who came in and ordered. That’s it. I recommend anyone to choose a different restaurant.

First time visiting. 6pm dinner
We were one of two tables at 6pm for dinner.
Polite server took our order, seemed confused on what sides went with each entree, what to offer etc. Therefore sides on our entrees were a little off. No worries.
Patty melt was delicious. BLT was beautiful and enjoyed. Burger was dry, definitely a frozen patty, cheese didn’t melt on burger. Catfish dinner was 1, not 2 fillets as listed on menu. It was not catfish, but a frozen beer battered fillet (Gorden’s).

My bf and I went around 11:30ish 12/27, and was told it was take-out only. I ordered the country breakfast (cheese grits, scrambled eggs, bacon) and a side of hash browns…he, a double patty melt with mushrooms. While sitting there waiting, we noticed that the cook was really clumsy. Strange. He kept dropping things and tried flipping the eggs in the pan by throwing them in the air, which led to eggs landing all over the grills. Random. Then he slapped so much butter on my bf’s Texas toast before putting the cheese on and slapping it on the grill. After spending $37 and some change, we left. I held the top of the bag on the ride home, and when we finally got there, my hand and arm was covered in melted butter. When we opened our food, my bf took a bite and spit his food out. It tasted like butter and the bread was soggy. My grits tasted like butter too. The only thing I ate were the hash browns and bacon. He ate his fries and put some wheat bread on his patty melt to see if that’d help. Nope. I called and no one answered, so I rode back by and they were closed well before 2am (Google said they close at 2). I called this morning spoke with Kyle and he said to bring the food back in. Did. He said they put a generous amount of butter on bread there. I know what a generous amount is, and that was too much. Only for him to tell me that he called corporate and they couldn’t refund my money because the transaction already went through. So now I’m out of $37 and barely ate any of the food we ordered. First and definitely my last time going there. 0/10 DO NOT recommend.

My husband and I went to have breakfast and we were so disappointed. We ordered our food and our sweet tea. The tea was not good. Waitress brought our food and silverware. My knife had food all over it so I gave it back to the waitress. She asked was there anything else we needed. We said no. Within 2 minutes she came and asked us again. When I say she came back and asked us 3 more times, she did. Although I appreciate the waitress making sure we were good, the excessive asking was aggravating. I dropped a napkin on the floor and as I went to pick it up I noticed how the floor was so disgusting. You can tell it hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. Now let’s get to the food. My husband ordered a southwestern omelette with hash browns and a biscuit. I ordered bacon, eggs, and cheese grits. My husbands omelette that had sat on the counter for 5 minutes before the rest of our food was cooked was now almost cold. My bacon was so greasy and my grits weren’t even hot enough to melt the cheese. Needless to say we will not be back there.

Too over priced for the food you get. I order the breakfast bowl with hash browns and eggs cheese and sausage it didn’t come in a bowl it came in a plate and not too much cheese or egg. But the server that bought our food and took order she was super nice .

Was very happy with the blue plate special. Country fried steak with saw mill gravy, lima beans and fried okra. We went in for breakfast and discovered the special which they serve anytime. Our server was fron New Jersey and was very friendly and professional. This place was also very clean, a nice change from many places in town.Check this place out. It’s great for lunch.

Their yummy food and good service is overshadowed by a lot of noise!! It appears there are dishes being washed and plates being stacked the length of their breakfast counter and food being cooked on a grill behind it. (Most restaurants have all this done in a back room.) So the constant clatter of dishes makes conversations difficult.
