I stopped by for lunch, the place is big enough with lots of seating. It was seat yourself. So as soon as I sat down, I was greeted by my server, and offered chips and salsa. They give you 3 different types of salsas, I’m assuming that’s why the name of the restaurant. Anyways they were so good. I ordered fajitas for one, it came with rice, charro beans and home made flour tortillas. I also ordered a mango margarita which was good. They offer happy hour with a wide variety of beers and other margaritas. Lots of other food optiona, and even though I ordered from the lunch menu the portions were generous. I am definitely coming back and I recommend it 100 %

My husband & I randomly found this restaurant about a year ago when looking for Tex Mex restaurant to eat at. We did not regret our decision at all, from our first visit to currently; we have been fully satisfied each time. The owner & staff are very friendly from the moment we enter the door to the minute we’re ready to checkout. There are so many options to choose from on the menu & honestly everything tastes delicious while being reasonably priced. Their margaritas are awesome as well. Their service & food are on par & worth revisiting. The ambiance is typical for a family restaurant & on special occasions they have a live DJ or performer which makes the experience that much more enjoyable. I would definitely recommend 3 salsas Mexican restaurant. If you haven’t tried it already – definitely give it a try, you won’t be disappointed!

It’s been 3 months now of me coming to this place. I can easily say without a doubt, I’ve not had a bad meal here. Whether it is a parrillada, tacos al carbon, enchiladas and their awesome 3 salsas. Highly recommend this place.

Really good enchiladas and tamales! 3 Salsas does not disappoint. Dropped by for a birthday dinner tonight and quickly got a table for 8.5 and were seated right away. Took a bit for the staff to get our drink orders and get going, but once the did, the service was great. Food was super hot when it came out, and without boiling unnecessarily under heat lamps. Tacos were tasty. Enchiladas and the sauce was on point. The salsas are all quite different and all really good. Looking forward to going back!!

We’ve visited this restaurant 5 times and today (Sunday) was no different…each time it has been a wonderful experience all around. The food was amazing, staff very friendly and atmosphere was great! Even when the restaurant was packed we were seated, waited on & served food quickly. If you are looking for authentic, homemade Mexican dishes, this is the best place in Houston or surrounding areas!

Fantastic! This place was hoppin’ the Friday night we went. They have a small bar area with high top table seating along with the main dining area with lower tables and chairs. It’s a small restaurant, but they’re apparently doing something right! Groups of people gathered to dine and fun was had by all from my observation.
I would classify this place as a “hole-in-the-wall” on the upside. The patrons were well dressed, the establishment was clean and the energy was high. They had a man playing the guitar and, what looked to be his son, playing the accordion. That piece of our experience gave it the old school Mexican mariachi restaurant feeling I haven’t had in a long time. That was a common find in the 80’s and early 90’s, but hard to find these days. It was pretty cool.
We were greeted by our waitstaff within a couple minutes with chips and 3 salsas, hence the name of the restaurant. They give you 2 reds and 1 creamy green salsa. All were good, but the green one is the spicy jalapeño sauce that is hot, but so tasty you can’t stop eating it. The chips were warm and perfect weight for dipping. I ordered a frozen margarita with salt. It was good and complimented my chips perfectly.
We ordered the trio fajitas for 2: chicken, beef and shrimp. Our meal arrived steaming, within 20 minutes (perfect time to enjoy the chips and the first margarita) and served with rice, beans, lettuce, guacamole. I figured the shrimp, being the priciest item on the platter would be skimpy, but I was wrong. There were 6 big shrimp along side of the good portions of chicken, beef and grilled onions. Everything was delicious! The meats were flavorful and tender. We were very impressed!
Finally, the check… $54.00, including our tip (and 2 margaritas), for all of the above! Great prices!! We will return.

An excellent Mexican restaurant which satisfied the two metrics I look for: quantities and taste.

I didn’t realize the significance of the name until the person I was eating out with told me they literally serve three salsas with the chips they provide. Being not a expert in Mexican food, I can only say two are the cooked tomato based variety and the other is green sauce which consists of green jalapenos, garlic and vegetable oil. The latter which I drank bowls of.

I had the 3 salsa beef fajita speciality for two (24.50). It had a actuall thick cut fajita steak about 1/2 in thick. It was well grilled and very flavorful, resting on a bed of grilled onions. Sides were served on a separate plate per person; they were enough. Also the tortillas were warmed as they should be.

Service was excellent, they refilled my drink and checked up on us.

While the area here may be kind of seedy, I have reservations on the restaurant itself and would eat here again if given the opportunity.

UPDATE: I came in 7/29 and got the same food I used to get and the price has went up!! Menu still has the same prices but I was charged a different price! I went and asked what the issue was but he stated the prices went up. But they didn’t! I just came and had a meal here last week and sat down and ate! So I’m confused! I don’t play about my money and I don’t like people who do bad business!! 1 star all the way and I won’t be returning I’ll go to Lupes! I really enjoyed the food here but I don’t do bad business practices so NEXT…..

If I could 10 star I would! Let me tell you something baby!! I’m from a small town that had little Mexican restaurants like this!! I felt so at home! The food, chips, the veggies, the beans, the SALSA (I’m a salsa girl) gets 10 stars ⭐️! I mean WHAT A GREAT PLACE TO EAT!!!!! I like the salsa with the onions in it!!! Chips so crispy!!! Like wow! I was presently surprised I won’t lie!! And then let’s top the cake & hope they don’t change this, THE PRICES are lovely!!! Affordable food, great service, makes for a happy customer!! THIS IS HOW ITS DONE! I love Mexican food & I don’t have to drive to lupes anymore because it’s far, I’ll definitely be eating here once, maybe twice a week! Definitely my new go to place!!!

Plenty of parking spaces. Also free parking.
Service was fast and friendly. Drinks were good, not too strong but not too weak. Refreshing.
Food was fresh and hot. Their mixed nachos are now my favorite nachos. They use the hood cheese not the string type cheese that gets cold too fast. The chips are not soggy neither. They have great Prices for everything on their menu. And of course all three of their salsa are amazing!
My favorite one is the green salsa.
If you are into drinking margaritas. I would recommend getting the top shelf corona rita. You can chose a different beer in it. I wish they had a closer location in the downtown area.

I was really impressed with this place. Prices are very reasonable and food tasted great. Love that the cook kin the back randomly starts singing. That tells me he likes what he’s doing. I can’t wait to go back and try something different.
