Growing up in L.A. I’m spoiled by amazing Mexican food, everywhere. This is my 10th time here, and not once have I been disappointed. Their authentic twist on all the comfort foods is next level. The carne asada with the free condiment bar and flan Togo is my favorite!

This is an authentic family owned restaurant with all of the quality that one may expect when dining out for Mexican Food. Their food is absolutely top notch, and the margaritas are by far the best in town. Not a chain and definitely not ordinarily. They don’t have a wait list which makes me wonder how many people are missing out. Go by and check them out, you won’t be disappointed. FYI…the outdoor patio is now open.

Very authentic feel and delicious food. Disappointed in the tiny portions of beans and rice as well as the lack of rice and beans on our other dish we thought came with it. When we asked for more they charged us $7. The beans were also too watery and the waitress was on the phone the entire time we were there so we had to keep getting her attention.

The food, service and atmosphere was totally less than a 1 star. We were seated at a dirty table. No one cared to clean it up before we were seated there. There was some gross thing stuck on the table. It looked like a spill of some food that dried up. So before the food came I was already grossed out.
Unfortunately everything went down hill from. The waitress failed to bring silverware, straw, lemons I requested.
Then there’s the food. If the atmosphere and service were not up to par, I wouldn’t mind but the food was a big no no.
The food was very dry. I’m not sure how someone can mess a chicken salad up. The best thing in the salad was the Avocado. The chicken was stale and extremely dry.
The other food item was salty and bland at the same time. No flavor except saltiness. We both couldn’t finish our meal as it was so unpalatable. The chips and salsa were decent but the chips were cold. I was also shocked at the hochata, as it was watered down so much. It looked like dirty water with specks of dust.
The price of the entire meal was worth more than it was. The plate was so chipped.

Sunday – high noon! No other customers there. Our order was taken, but no one was ever to be seen again until the food arrived. We were unable to get any more soda or salsa until that time.
DO NOT ORDER A TACO SALAD.
It came in a large tortilla bowl yet it was smaller than a tossed salad.
We told staff, but they didn’t seem to think much about it.

I called in an order of burritos for takeout. When my husband got there they had convinced him it was for enchiladas. We love enchiladas but these were the worst! We were truly hoping to have a good Mexican restaurant nearby.

Cheese crispy is not on the menu anymore, but you can still order it ! It was so delicious, and the taco plate of 8 for 21.00 was exquisite! Elpastor and chorizo! My wife got the taco salad.

The fajitas were good and came on a fun sizzling plate. Could have used more tortillas as it only came with 3 small ones. The tostada+enchilada combination platter wasn’t anything special, kinda lacked flavor. It was nice that they offered free chips/salsa upon being seated.
However I must note that when we got there on a Saturday afternoon, we waited at the front for 10mins before seeing a single employee and being seated.

The service was good but the food not so much…. The burritos don’t have refried beans they are whole beans, the ground beef tastes like Hormel chili and the green chili has no flavor at all. The salsa was watery. Margaritas are okay. They only have bottled beer. Definitely will not eat there again.

I hadn’t eaten all day, and I wanted tasty Mexican food, and a lot of it, for as close to a reasonable price as one can get these days. The chimichanga lunch special at 3 Potrillos absolutely delivered! Lovely seasoning for the beef, and the chimichanga was nice and crispy and served with a whopping side of good beans/rice/sour cream/salsa. Totally delicious, great value, and I’ll come back again!
