Ordered the Paprika Chicken sandwich and added bacon, it was soooooo good. Chicken was grilled to perfection, veggies were fresh, bread was crispy, and the sauce on the sandwich was bomb. Ended up costing $17 after adding bacon + tax, a biiiiiiiiiit pricey for a sandwich honestly but for the area not too bad I’d say. One of the best sandwiches I’ve had in a long time

We went last weekend and I am still craving this place. Amazing food enjoyed it 100%!!! The sandwiches were super deliciousss and tastyyy. It was our first time trying and I am pretty picky with my food so I was scared but it was BOMB. we ate it down at the beach and I could not stop talking about it I got the pesto chicken sandwich and added avocado but my boyfriend does not remember his order but he enjoyed it as well!! The French fries were super tasty and yummy too. I love how flavorful and season everything was!! We also tried the chocolate chip cookies and it was a yummy treat as well. We live 2 hours & 15 mins away from the Monterey area and we have been considering to drive down again next weekend because we both are craving it again haha but we will see. Definitely recommend this place everyone was very friendly and welcoming as well. We went back on Sunday one more time to have it one last time before heading back

This was my first time visiting and unfortunately it was a disappointing experience. I ordered the Argentinian tri tip sandwich. The bread was nice and crunchy and the tri tip itself was tender, so it started off promising. However, the chimichurri tasted more like pesto and didn’t have the fresh, tangy flavor I expected.
The worst part was finding THREE HAIRS in my sandwich, which completely ruined my appetite. Food safety and cleanliness are really important, so this was very concerning. Sadly, I won’t be returning.

I went to Monterey yesterday for a visit. While looking around on Google, I found a sandwich shop called “Mundos” with good reviews. Since I didn’t want to wait once I got there, I scheduled a sandwich order on DoorDash 45 minutes in advance. We ordered around 2:25 PM and arrived at the shop at 3:20 PM.
But when we got there, they hadn’t even started the order. They told us to wait 5 more minutes. After waiting, they came and said the bread we specifically ordered — Dutch crunch — wasn’t available and offered ciabatta instead. At that point, I just said, “Fine, give us our food.”
Other people were coming in and getting their food, while we were still waiting. I finally got my food at 3:35 PM — more than an hour after I placed the order. We were starving. When I opened it, I had asked for the sandwich to be toasted, but it was burnt. It was so bad that I couldn’t eat it — I took one bite and threw the rest away.
Then I checked my husband’s sandwich — it wasn’t even on ciabatta, it was some other bread. The filling inside was a mess, and he couldn’t eat it either. He threw his away too.
I wasted $37 for absolutely nothing. Don’t go here.

Great little sandwich shop. The Mundos Cubana is really good. We were served quickly, and it didn’t cost too much. They could do with some more drink options as it’s pretty much just coke and water.

We had their breakfast burrito sausage and veggies. It was very flavorful and healthy. No fillers like rice. The tortilla was also great quality. We definitely want to return for their Cuban sandwich.

Ordered the Argentinan Tri Tip and the Mundos Cubana! Both sandos were schmackin!!!! The customer service was top notch. The gentleman at the front gave great recs and even made some adjustments to our sandos for a taste we were looking for. All in all a must visit if you’re in Monterey!

I ordered a vegan BLT sandwich on ciabatta. It was very tasty, although the bac’n could have been a little more crispy. I also got the fries which were pretty good too. Perhaps they could have been a little more crispy too but largely a solid lunch. I will definitely order again. Maybe next time I will try the grilled mozzarella sandwich.

This place serves the very best vegan sandwiches I’ve ever had! Incredibly fresh bread stuffed with vegan meat, cheese, and so much flavor! We tried the vegan Cuban tri-tip and the vegan Cuban chik’n. Both were incredible – the texture, the flavor, the experience. Perfection!
Update: just returned the next day to try another sandwich before we fly out. The vegan chik’n Milanese sandwich is just as tasty but not quite as impressive as the Cubans. All delicious. The bread is just incredible. Highly recommend this place!!!

ARE YOU KIDDING ME? That sandwich was vegan? I ordered the vegan tri-tip Cuban and my wife ordered the vegan chick’n Cuban and we shared. Piled high on artisan bread, their sandwiches are nothing short of amazing. Outdoor seating in the warm sun is great or eat inside. Highly recommended if you’re in the mood for a great sandwich!
