Do not let the exterior of this place fool you. Located on the corner of N. Navarro and Ash street, this place is a hidden gem. Old house converted into a restaurant. Service was great, place was clean and the food was delicious. Ample parking. I will be back.

Update. Fortunate that work brought me back to the area and I was able to make another visit to this restaurant. Grateful that nothing had changed. Service remains prompt, Food was great. I am looking forward to revisiting this place next time I am in the area.

Don’t let the outside of the building fool you, the food, service and atmosphere are excellent. I was especially impressed with the crispy taco! Wish they were open in the evening but I’m sure they do a phenomenal breakfast! Can’t wait to try that. The only reason I’m giving four stars is because the chips were stale and when I asked if they had any others that were fresh they said no. Otherwise, solid A!

We went for dinner on a week night. We were the only patrons.
We had Carne Guisada and Barbacoa. Both were obviously warmed up and the tortillas, rice and beans were not fresh either. The refried beans were *thick*.

Flavors were ok but not having fresh sides was a let down. Probably 3.5 stars – I rounded up thinking to be fair try again earlier in the day.

Love everything. Good vibe. Everything is clean. Homey feel. I just love it. The food is great. Service was stellar.
Only thing I would love better is good coffee creamer. I won’t be drinking their coffee if I don’t bring my own creamer. Hoping they upgrade.
