*AWESOME REVIEW ALERT!*
I just had a great Mexican restaurant experience at 3 Amigos in Elizabeth City, NC!
*Margaritas = ON POINT!* They have small, medium, OR large margaritas and you can get them on the rocks OR frozen… talk about choices! And let me tell you… THOSE MARGARITAS WERE DELICIOUS!
The *HOUSE SALSA* was … like, seriously good! I could’ve eaten it by the bucket! And the *Enchilada Entree*? Fuhgeddaboutit! Got chicken, beef, AND cheese enchiladas with rice and salad… was SO filling!
BIG SHOUTOUT to *HUGO*… dude was SUPER HELPFUL! Made sure I had a solid time.
I probably will DOUBLE BACK for dinner TONIGHT! Definitely gonna want to try more of that goodness!

Not a too terribly bad Mexican restaurant, nothing of note aside from the actual decorations. Food is good but not particularly mind blowing. The service can be a hit or miss when it comes to time, you either go in and get your food within 30 minutes (if you already knew what you want) or you can go in, wait an hour and eventually get your food.
Over all a 6.6/10.

Was a great to have dinner at. Our food was delicious, our waitress was great, drinks were fantastic (could taste the alcohol).
Things came out in a timely manner (actually faster then anticipated due to them being busy. The atmosphere was fun and kept light nothing too serious and the music help the mood.
Bathrooms were tidy and fully stocked.
I was fully sold on this place and it’s staff after a surprise group of 25 came in and they were willing and able to accommodate them after some planning. Plus they kept it professional even with the group being a obnoxious.
Keep up the good work, would recommend this place to anybody that is coming to the area and wants some good food and service!

The food was off the mark just a bit but still had a great experience. The waiter was very attentive and he checked on us multiple times. This is my go to spot for Mexican Cuisine when I am in the Elizabeth City area.

Overall, pleasant experience. Chicken and beef were overcooked and a bit dry but the customer service makes up for the underwhelming dishes. The portions are large so order accordingly.

Ordered: chicken soft taco- received a beef soft taco
Ordered: Arroz con pollo came with no queso no tortillas
Ordered: pollo seafood came with rubber tortillas and no queso
Ordered: cheese quesadilla – got none
Ordered : burrito California- received a plain chicken burrito. No veggies

A popular Mexican restaurant amongst locals in Elizabeth City, NC, however, if you have traveled around the world, you are not missing much.
The 3 Amigos restaurant is not revolutionizing anything. You get the chips and salsa, the reheated food, and the typical drinks. If you are from the area, it is probably the place to go. Mainly due to location and availability in the Elizabeth City, NC area. However, if you have traveled the world and have had REAL authentic Mexican food, then this place is not all that great. The dessert is absolutely amazing though!
The prices are really affordable, the parking lot is plentiful, and the décor is beautiful. Where this place stands out is the service. It is a great place for a date, hanging out with friends, and/or a quick bite to eat. My girlfriend and I were fortunate to have a waitress that was simply phenomenal. The waitress and the desserts are the only reason why this place received 4 star rating.
In short, this is not a bad place, it just is not as good as GOOD Mexican food.

Food was not the best. Had better white sauce with chips at another restaurant nearby. Ordered online, scheduled to pickup food at 2:15pm, arrived minutes before that, they said that they will start our order, waited at least 15 minutes, walked in to get our order, still had to wait a little and then saw some people say some threatening words to an employee.
