We had a great experience at 3 Agaves Mexican Restaurant! The atmosphere was warm, lively, and family friendly… you can tell it’s a spot people genuinely enjoy gathering at. Service was friendly and attentive from the moment we sat down, and our drinks came out quickly.
The food was flavorful and fresh. The fajitas were sizzling hot with generous portions of meat and veggies, and everything was well seasoned without being overly salty. The plate with rice, beans, guacamole, and pico tasted homemade and balanced, not heavy or greasy. Even the drinks were nicely made and refreshing.
We came with a group, including kids, and everyone found something they liked which says a lot. Prices were reasonable for the portion sizes, and overall it felt like a solid, reliable place for Mexican food whether you’re going with family or friends.
Definitely worth stopping in if you’re in the area and want good food, good portions, and a welcoming vibe.

The place is very nice, with beautiful décor and table details that I really loved. However, the staff wasn’t impressive at all; it felt like they were serving without much interest. We ordered the California burrito (10/10, delicious) and the carnitas in green sauce (4/10). I must say the chips were hot and tasty.

The best Verde sauce I’ve ever tasted and the salads are fantastic too!
We ordered enchiladas verde and an avocado salsa with chicken. Everything tasted fantastic. Service was fast and the waiter was attentive even though it was a busy Sunday. We will definitely be back.

I’ve ordered takeout a couple of times from 3 Agaves. Both times part of the order wasn’t included. The last time an entire meal was missing, no salsa was included, and queso was missing from the order. All in total I was missing around $20 of food on a $74 order. It would be OK if the food wasn’t perfect; the food is good enough, but whoever packs the orders is careless. If you’re going to eat in the restaurant you should be fine, but I can’t recommend ordering delivery from here.

We started our meal with a smoky salsa and crispy tortilla chips. The salsa was delicious and flavorful. Sadly, some of the tortilla chips did not have salt and lacked flavor. The queso was creamy and flavorful, and the Choriqueso was smoky, meaty, and delicious on the tortilla chips. My son ordered the Arroz Con Pollo meal and loved it, especially because it had lots of queso. My wife ordered the Chimichanga Cuatas and enjoyed it. Both chimichangas were packed with meat, and my wife’s favorite was the chicken. I ordered the Pechuga en Mole, and I’m glad I did. A perfectly grilled chicken breast covered in a flavorful mole sauce.

Why have all mexican restaurants started overcharging now? We used to have fabulous fresh, real, authentic mexican restaurants at a reasonable price….now the only one that gets a perfect is “Chuys” and it’s a chain restaurant. Chuys has fresh authentic Salsa unlike the typical cheap tasting canned that most are serving up. Even Chuys sets the bar with real chips when places provide bagged chips that come from a bag.
This experience gives me nothing exciting to write about. Another mexican restaurant cutting corners to make profits. Eventually these places get skipped past and they go out. Hope they can get something unique that brings-

I was not welcomed. I got there and had some people paying for their food. Waited till they were done and the receptionist did not even acknowledge me but rather went on to the help the next person that was behind me. I had to go to him and tell him I want to place an order before he took my order.I’ll not recommend this place. They’re only nice to their people.

Food actually tasted ok but the menu clearly states that it is SKIRT STEAK and that’s what I wanted…. That’s not what they brought out. Then you ask the waitress and she basically said “it is what it is” and didn’t even try to make the situation better.
It didn’t matter if it’s a better or worse cut of steak. You should receive what you ordered.
