The Food: Every bite was perfection. The savory pot pies—especially the ‘Julia’s Child’—are packed with flavor and feature the most amazingly crispy, flaky crust I’ve ever had. We also made sure to save room for dessert, and the sweet pies did not disappoint. Don’t skip the Brussels sprouts shareable, either—they are decadently delicious!
The Vibe: The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and perfect for a relaxed meal. Whether you sit inside or take advantage of the patio, it’s a great spot to enjoy a meal or one of their unique, well-crafted cocktails.
The Service: The staff was attentive, friendly, and genuinely helpful, making our visit even more enjoyable.
If you’re in Colorado Springs, this spot is a absolute must-try. I’m already looking forward to my next visit to try more of their rotating menu!
Beyond the food, the service was amazing. Every single staff member we interacted with was super friendly and welcoming, which really made the whole experience feel special. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, the kind of place where you want to linger and enjoy.
Highly recommend this spot, I’ll definitely be back!
Everything was delicious and customer service was amazing. We definitely are going to come back!
I ordered a Rosemary’s baby, some mashed potatoes, and brussel sprouts. One of my dining companions ordered a Cluck – n -shrooms and mashed potatoes. Our third had only iced tea.
The food came out relatively quick given how packed the place is. My pie was alright. A little too much rosemary for my taste, and the chicken was mostly the nasty parts I generally give to my dogs. I would rather have ordered the veg pie. The crust was difficult to cut, definitely not flaky. My friend enjoyed her pie. I found the mashed potatoes to be bland, and the bacon tasted of old grease, but I appreciated the fact that it was crisp. Definitely needed butter as I chose to have them without gravy. Loaded potatoes seem wasted with gravy to me. The brussel sprouts tasted good, but appeared to have been microwaved and thats a big no-no to me when I eat out.
After our meal I ordered a dutch apple pie ala mode. The pie appeared to have been microwaved (extremely hot on the inside, cold on the outside). The crust was difficult to cut, even with the serrated butter knife, and the ice cream was pretty bland. The interior parts of the pie were so hot my tongue got burnt and the edge of the pie so hard I decided to give up on it.
All in all, a kitsch place to eat. Unique and fun on a March 14, but a no for me any other day.
