This is a fun place to take your kids to. The food is delivered by train right to your seat. The train runs all times and puts smiles on the faces of your kids. When the staff isn’t busy, they change up the trains and even have funny vehicles that they put on to the enjoyment of the kids. The food wasn’t anything special, simple burgers, fries and hotdogs etc. It was a bit difficult to find at night as the sign wasn’t lit up.

Fun place to take the kids. They have a little train that runs into the kitchen and they loaded up with food and then he brings it by the tables for you the kids really enjoy it. The food is not that great but it’s fun it’s good to go there occasionally and especially if you have small kids that might enjoy the train

I decided to take the children I watch here to celebrate one of their birthdays. We went in and there were three other tables with people. We ordered our food and I specifically asked for two separate checks which at the end I got one. After ordering we waited for what seemed like a long time. The children were getting anxious and hungry. I ordered a root beer float that was served in a metal container. I thought this is what they make it in then pour into a glass, I guess not. The Ice cream was more like frozen ice than ice cream and the root beer didn’t really have much flavor. Finally, when the food arrived it wasn’t very good especially for the price. The fries were warm yet look over cooked “clueless” unless they were reheated. The lettuce for my burger was either dirty or going bad which I didn’t eat, the tomato was so thin and looked almost yellowish which I also didn’t eat. The kids chicken nuggets and mac and cheese was fine no complaints. The carrots that came with the kids meals did not appear to have been washed. After we were done no one took our dirty dishes from they table. We then asked to order a birthday cupcake. It took another seemed like 15 mins before someone remembered to bring it. I think they need MORE help for sure! Two people and one cook isnt enough. Overall, the service was odd and slow and the food was just not good. Sorry I hate to leave a not so good review but this was our experience. Cute idea for a restaurant but…..

A super cute mid size party stop, max 20 guests imo comfortably. American hot dogs fare, perfect for bday burgers and bites. P.s. they also serve kraft Mac and cheese, grass fed beef too. They gave a train car that delivers the food. It’s cute they send a birthday meal to the kids we go a few times a year, always fun, but lil’ pricey for what you get overall but their fun atmosphere and marketing meal mailer kinda makes up for it I guess. Keep them around here, visit them for pick up and bring the fun home. They have a cute cupcake or brownie with whistle on top.

I was really excited that they had grass feed beef hot dogs and gluten free hot dog buns. Chilli dog was good and the kids enjoyed their food as well, including train whistle cupcakes.
Only complaint is that it took them almost 15 minutes to take our order when the restaurant was nearly empty and it took a long time for it to come out. At least the train was entertaining the boys during this time.

A little pricey. It was fun tho. The kids loved the tiny train and the food was decent. We’ll be back, just not on a regular basis. This place is the type of place you visit 1-2x / yr for kids special occasions.

I can not recommend this place highly enough for young kids. Both of our children absolutely loved the train! Anytime we’re in Chicago with the kids we’re coming back!

Food was great and service even better. The folks there were so patient with the kids wanting to see the trains and here the train whistle.

Great restaurant for the kids, the trains are great! The staff are great with kids too and love to interact with the kids and trains.
I like the food here too. The burgers and good and the bacon is super thick. I’m not sure what some of the other reviews were expecting. Yes it’s a short menu, but the quality is there in what they do offer.

Just got back from Chicago and stopped at the 2 Toots Grill. I’m so glad that we went there! They accommodated our group of 13 without an issue. The food was good, watching the train go around was awesome. The owner served us and made us feel very welcome, he ran some extra cute trains around for the kids to watch, and told jokes with the kids. Definitely something you need to do if you are in the area!
Another place owned by the same person is the Original Pancake House in Park ridge, another place you need to stop!
Dale was awesome, definitely made our trip to Chicago extra special!
