2nd Street Bistro has a vibrant team that has proven to be a staple in Downtown Fort Pierce for over the last decade. The Historic downtown area is a wonderful place to walk around and enjoy. Our building has an amazing history since 1929 when it was built, the vision was to preserve the past and incorporate the present and future through the atmosphere. With walls full of old signage, pictures and antiques, the conversations begin the minute you walk through the door. Open 7 days a week for lunch and dinner and then Brunch on Saturday and Sunday from 10am-2pm, our menu is vast with something for everybody. We have a full bar with specialty drinks, local draft beer on tap and even a huge pet friendly covered patio overseeing the water.
Casual spot with a patio offers a menu of simple American fare, plus happy hour & Sunday brunch.

Really enjoyed our brunch at 2nd Street Bistro.
Service was excellent. Food was great quality and delicious. We had the breakfast pizza, chicken and waffles, biscuits w gravy and Belgian waffle. Chicken tenders tasted so fresh , hand battered and seasoned. All flavors meshed well. Not a huge fan of the biscuits- tasted premade/ frozen but otherwise everything else tasted great. Outdoor deck was a nice experience too as it was a very nice day out. We do plan on returning.
I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because of the automatic 18% gratuity added to the bill (regardless of party size) we were a party of 3. Truly believe the amount of gratuity should be based on quality of service and not a requirement or expectation but did appreciate the waitress telling us before we ordered.

We had the most amazing dinner at this restaurant last night. Our waiter Lee was excellent! He was informative about the foods and his suggestions were very helpful! We got the smash burger and fish sandwich. I love love love the fried okra! He suggested the Apple turnovers and they were delicious!!! I wish I could rate this a 10/5 ❤️

There are not enough words to express how good the patty melt was. HOLY MOLY!!! By far the best I have ever had for sure! The cucumber salad was nice and refreshing. A very good Bloody Mary!! I had the waitress bring me anything she wanted for another drink and she brought me a Stormy, that was nice too, but not as good as the bloody!! I live 1500 miles away and come down every January and would honestly jump on a plane just for the patty melt alone!

Stopped in for a very late lunch today. Very quiet as the lunch crowd had already left.
Quickly seated, daily specials were explained as was their Hospitality Pricing.
Asked if i would still get good service, to which both waitresses said ” of course!”
And it was.
All that i really wanted today was a nice salad.
Keri suggested the house salad with a protein.
How about grilled salmon on a house salad with Ceasars dressing on the side.
Coming right up i was told.
i must say for it being off hours and a slow time for the kitchen. The salmon was cooked perfectly!
A slight sear on the outside but very moist and tender with in!!!
Refills were quick but and here is “The But”. I did have to get another cup of Ceasars dressing…j/k
When the check was given, i had to ask if the 18% was already included?
“Yes it is”
Whoa …! It still seems to be a great value for the quality of the food!
Left the normal 20-25% tip and head out as a very happy camper!

The biggest thank you to our server lovely Kelly. She was the sweetest and most attentive. she helped us try out a new item on the menu which we enjoyed very much! Without her our experience would’ve been like any other restaurant. However the food was very very good I had a smash burger with bacon and my husband had an old time burger and we left the plates absolutely clean! Definitely coming back as we’ve already came back twice.

Now let’s talk about our waitress—because she deserves her own Yelp account. She was funny, quick, and somehow always appeared exactly when we needed something, like a caffeinated restaurant ninja. Drinks never hit empty, questions were answered before we finished asking them, and she had the kind of humor that makes you feel like you’re eating with a friend… who also happens to be excellent at her job.
She balanced professionalism with comedy perfectly—no forced “server jokes,” just genuinely good vibes and top-tier service. If customer service were an Olympic sport, she’d be on the podium waving while holding a tray.
