Different cheesesteak #1099 in the last five years. This was a great day to be me!! I was tired, hungry and far from home. That is usually a recipe for disaster. But not on this day. 2nd Street Bagels has a 4.6 rating on google maps. I saw Philly Steak, egg and Cheese on the menu. This would have been a very good cheesesteak. The meat was tender. The onions added a ton of flavor. The bagel was a perfect sandwich bagel. It collapsed nicely and held the steak, egg, cheese and onions together. The young ladies at 2nd Street Bagel work great together. They filled a lot of orders pleasantly and professionally. Great stop on the adventure.

This is an awesome breakfast sandwich! Bacon egg and cheese between French Toast !! You don’t need any syrup it’s def sweet enough! This is one of their new sandwiches they added to the menu . I definitely recommend trying it!

Second time I’ve been here, and amazing each time. Both times I got a bagel with cream cheese and lox. This time I got an apple pastry and a coffee with my bagel. The coffee is pretty good, and self serve, which is nice in my opinion. The apple pastry was fantastic

I’ve been eating at 2nd Street for years and I have always LOVED the place, and will continue to do so. All the food is fresh, hand made, and very tasty. And they have more than just bagels, including omelets and soups, and gluten free options. Just ask and they’ll see what they can do if you want something special. I’ve come to know many of the staff as friends during my time stopping in for lunch, and I always feel at home when I visit. One of my favorite places to eat!

Sandwiches are good but the pastries are not homemade. Cappuccino comes from a machine like ones at Wawa but more watered down. The general area to sit and eat were unkempt (indoor and outdoor) and dirty. The toilets were really bad. I wouldn’t go back just because it seemed dirty.

Last weeks order: Bagels are usually so fresh they do not need to be toasted. Also the amount of cream cheese is so much I remove some and save it. Today however, Hard burnt bagel with hardly any cream cheese. Very very disappointed. I had to pay delivery and tip for this. Almost lost a filling! Tried it again today (plus fees and delivery!!) NEVER gain!! Bagel was burnt on top again exactly like last week and egg not fresh.. I ordered chicken salad for lunch- I got chopped up chicken on toast- where was the chicken salad lettuce and tomato!!?? I could not even eat it not edible!!

The food isn’t bad in anyway. Not outstanding either. Just good in my opinion. The bagels don’t have the right texture. They are too soft and get very very flat like they have no bounce back or resistance when squeezed. If you’ve been around enough bagels you’ll know what I mean lol This is consistent. Again they are not bad just not a new York style bagel which I was hoping to get. Service is great and so are there other pastries. Unfortunately not worth the trip back for me though.
