Great place and even better bartenders.. We come here for affordable drinks poured on the heavy side. Love the atmosphere and the people who are here are always fun to drink with. Never had a bad experience here but always end up with a story to tell.

Absolutely love this bar. The only down side is when I’m using the bathroom and I’m halfway through the first wave the lights turn off on me and I have to phone a friend to open the door to turn the lights back on. Outside of that I’d definitely come back again.

Bartender, Chelsea? was very attentive and friendly to everyone. We never had to look at an empty glass. Music was not too loud allowing great conversation with other patrons. Haven’t had a lot on the menu, but what I had was delicious. Definitely recommend to anyone wanting to hang out and have a great time.

Poorly designed bar that leaves no room to walk behind people sitting at the bar if someone standing and talking to them, you have to ask them to move to get by. With only two to three tables you can tell this was designed by amateurs whose main focus was a gambling machine room. Hopefully the back door is never closed or locked in a fire it would be very scary to try to get out of this place if you were in the back and the door was locked because there’s hardly any room to get around the large bar. Otherwise service was nice and courteous and drinks were done correctly.

Always have to much fun here!!! Luv Luv Luv Joni and seeing old friends. Great food from Wheezys too!! Best bar in Byron if you ask me. All staff are friendly and work there butts off. Can’t wait to go back

While there are many options in Byron for a cold drink, 2nd Chance is my favorite watering hole for several reasons. First, they have a devoted staff of great bartenders, you will feel welcome when you walk in the door. Personally, I love the circle bar concept (with good padded bar stools), it makes it easy to socialize with friends or strangers! The ambiance makes it a perfect location to watch a sporting event with multiple TV or jam to the jukebox. The bathrooms are always clean, and they have a comfortable smoking area out back. Finally, one of the best reasons to visit 2nd Chance is that they do not serve food on site, thus there are no minors allowed into the bar, however you can order food from their sister location Weezy’s across the street and it will be delivered fast and hot! I also hear the slots are HOT!!!
