Reviews
The bartenders here go beyond mixing drinks; they’re the epitome of hospitality. Their genuine friendliness and attentive service make every visit memorable. Whether it’s recommending a favorite brew or engaging in lively conversation, they add an extra touch to the experience.
The bar’s country-themed ambiance resonates through its decor, evoking a sense of nostalgia and comfort. The classic country tunes and cozy interiors create an inviting space to unwind after a long day’s work.
Though the drink selection might not be extensive, it captures the essence of a good country bar, offering a range of local brews and signature cocktails. The prices are reasonable, ensuring a delightful evening without breaking the bank.
Rod and Arletta Smart who were married at the time.
Arletta who is also known as Arletta Clairmont, is my mother.
I was there when they opened up the bar in it’s original place.
July 14th I was at the bar with my Son Jeramy.
The new location, about 400ft west of the old location.
And I had not been inside since 1984.
So what do I see.
Familiar beer signs.
Totally remodelled and sizable bar.
Bigger then the last one.
And I had asked what capacity was.
I was told about 150.
I looked around and I was shocked when they told me.
Because I told them they could handle 500 easily and that is crowded.
They have a patio and they have four horseshoe pits.
And yes You can drink outside at the pits.
But not on the street.
I wish I came back on better term’s.
See the family was great.
But.
My mother died on 7/10/2018
And I was in Ronan for her funeral.
The Second Chance sure brought back memories.
Especially being on the Indian Reservation again.
Good atmosphere.
House music was rockin.
Highly recommend.
