Really cool place to visit if you’re into taking photos for yourself or for Instagram.

The food was really good – we ordered the strawberry shaved ice as well as pancakes.

The strawberry shaved ice was really really really good! For that alone I would come back!

The decor is nice and there are some really cool 2D deserts.

The decor does look as good as it is on the photo, very impressive! Good fun to go to :)) the service isn’t as slow as some comments make it out to be, and I found the staff to be nice enough, but it’s not somewhere to go if you’re in a rush. The sweet potato latte I had was good, nothing to write home about, but you’re more thsre for the vibes than the quality…

October 26, 2025 Sunday 7:30 PM. My wife and I really wanted to see this cafe for what was shown in social media and it did not disappoint. The decor and aesthetic was definitely what you see on reels but the vibe wasn’t it. If you don’t care about the taste of baked goods or customer service then this is the place to be. The person taking our order seemed like she had to handle 1.5M orders during the day with her attitude unlike the usual Japanese hospitality you are used to. My wife had to call out for her a 3rd time before she finally made her way to the cash register. I don’t usually complain about customer service but if you don’t want to work in this industry or can’t fake a welcoming vibe then don’t. It’s a specialty cafe for a reason and not some fast food joint. Heck even mcdonald’s on all branches we went to in japan had more customer service vibe to it. I just hope everyone else won’t have the person at the till as if they wanted the rude service like they intentionally do at Heart Attack Grill.

The 2D cakes taste like they’re 2D they’re super dry and bland and lack 3D flavor! But the coffee is decent. The ambiance is fantastic and gram worthy! But don’t bother buying the 2D cakes (you’ll be disappointed). Service was pretty good. One time visiting is worth it, but that’s it.

The best shaved ice ever! I also got a matcha which was good but has a weird taste I couldn’t put my finger on. The aesthetic was so cool and unique! Was very obviously a popular tourist destination as a lot of people were filming and doing food reviews, which ruined the atmosphere. Would still recommend going if you’re in the area.

The Mango Shaved Ice was INTENSELY delicious. The Viscoff Frappe also quite good.

2D Cake paled in flavor against the other options. Aesthetically fun cak and cafe all around.

The aesthetic was just too fun to pass up. The black-and-white hand-drawn design makes you feel like you’ve stepped into a comic book or sketchpad. It’s Instagram heaven, no doubt.

We ordered a victoria sponge, cheesecake and mango ice, which was visually striking, but once you get past this, the experience is pretty average.

The charcoal coffee was pretty weak and the matcha could have used a more robust flavour.

The decor was really cool, the whole place looks like you’re stepping into a drawing, which I loved! But honestly, the food was disappointing. The coffee tasted like plain black water, and overall, it just didn’t live up to the visuals. Great for photos, not for flavor.

This 2D Cafe is a magical, unique experience—it truly looks like you’ve walked into a hand-drawn sketch. The visuals are stunning, and the entire setting, including the polka-dot coffee mug and serving tray, follows the aesthetic perfectly. It’s incredibly cute and exactly like the photos. An absolute must-visit destination for its creative concept and unique photo opportunities!

Cute little 2D-themed café with creative decor.
Cakes and sweets are adorable, especially the strawberry one with the perfect sweetness.
Prices are reasonable and the place is easy to find.
Lots of cute photo spots.
Staff are a bit slow and didn’t explain where to pick up my cake.
They don’t speak English but I think they can speak Vietnamese.
