The service was good although when we got there they had no rice nor chicken at the time. Ordered to go (brisket pho), when I got home only had 4 slices of brisket & the noodles was a small portion & were all cut so i couldn’t use chopsticks (probably better to dine in @that case) for one brisket pho was nearly 20$ personally ive had a large bowl for less (the photo is my personal bowl) i wouldn’t go back nor recommend just cause of how I received my pho due to the noodles & the broth wasn’t to my liking (didnt taste authentic but added sauces to better the taste) also the bean sproutsi received was barley a pinch. They do serve begals, protein shakes & nail/beauty services?

A hidden gem!! If you are in Joshua Tree or Yucca valley and need a great place to eat, look no more!! 29 Yum was just what we were looking for! We had the Brisket pho which was served with a tray of fresh cilantro, basil, bean sprouts and jalapeños. It was flavorful with generous portions of tender brisket. We also ordered the poke bowl with spicy tuna and salmon over rice and greens. They had great toppings like picked daikon, fresh avocado and spicy mayo and it looked beautiful. Then to top it all off they had delicious Thai tea made from brewed tea leaves, not from powder! You could choose your milk. They even offered oat and the sweetness was just right, not overly sweet like some can be. Service was fast and friendly!! I don’t understand why this place isn’t packed!! It is a little bit hidden behind Aldi. Also their bagels looked amazing, if you need a breakfast stop! Don’t miss out! You won’t be disappointed!

The Thai tea and green Thai tea are 10/10. It’s such a cute spot and so many options! Definitely my new go to spot!

Don’t miss it!! It’s BEHIND the Rite Aid!!!
Location leaves a bit to be desired but once you’re inside, it’s a lovely place. Bagel sandwiches are super legit, BIG, and tasty. You can tell they make everything from scratch!
The missing star is due to the regular “cold brew” coffee. I say “cold brew” because I am a picky cold brew person and it tasted (1) burnt and (2) like iced coffee, not cold brew. I need my rocket fuel!!
I do like many of the other types of drinks on their menu so I’ll have to try those next. Can’t WAIT to go back for more bagels!!! Yum yum yum.

Smallest pho bowls in socal. Price is very high. Good is pretty good. Their ribs are very good. Nice place to relax as well. They have couches. Not sure why there is a nail place in the restaurant. That’s kind of weird. Service is a bit and miss. Place is always empty. I have been there many times and barely see more than 2 other guests there. Must be the shall peons and high prices.

2/15/25: ask and you shall receive, I got the extra basil with my Combo Pho today. Great and friendly service. Thanks for a great bowl of hot pho, Edward.
1/13/25: This place offers the foods that a Vietnamese crave while wintering in the high desert: phở, coffee, and bánh-mì. Quick counter service to place your order, and it was delivered to your table. The phở came out hot with tasty broth (7 out of 10), I wish that more Thai basil was offered. I will try to get some bánh-mì next time.

We ordered two Yucca Bagels for breakfast to try and they were amazing! The eggs were fresh and fluffy, the avocados were ripe and delicious, the bacon tasted good, the cream cheese was delightful, and the bagels were phenomenal! I will definitely be coming back again to try other items on the menu!
My wife liked the blended Spiced Chai and I liked the Milk Tea as well!

Pho was decent. Bowls came out very dirty with broth all over and I had to wipe them down before picture. Their Thai Tea with Boba Pearls was good! Even though the weather was HOT you can never go wrong with pho especially when you’ve been away from home and needing some soup based food.

Wonderful! Ordered the beef pho and shrimp spring rolls. Pho was of similar quality to any pho you could get in OC, with a very flavorful broth. I also appreciate the fact that they have basil! Spring rolls were bright and very fresh as any good spring roll should be. Service was friendly and helpful even after i admittedly got a tad bit snarky with the cashier (sorry!) she found a way to make my experience a pleasent one. Absolutely love having good pho in yucca valley!
