Stopped in on Tuesday for Wing Night. $6 for a dozen wings that were unbelievable!!! Great atmosphere and the patrons were very friendly. But the gem of the night was the bartender Erin. She was so responsive to EVERYONE’S needs. I don’t think I’ve ever laughed so hard. I really liked her singing along to the tunes we were playing. Plus Happy Hour was from 5-7. Can’t wait to go back.

Nice hidden gem w great bartenders ❣️ Hubby had Black & blue burger which came with fresh cut fries! OMGGGGGGAWD, it was delish, burger so moist, cooked to your liking w/REAL blue cheese crumbles . I had the “Jerk chicken w pineapple” sandwich, but I think I would’ve enjoyed the burger better. At first glance, we weren’t sure if it was the right place, there isn’t much to the outside but dont let that fool you!…total hidden gem and cant wait to go back to try other menu options Thank you Maya for great service❣️

Stopped in on a Thursday for some food and a few drinks and to listen to some live music. Was seafood night! Had the peel and eat shrimp and the best French Onion soup Ive ever had (see pic). Real friendly bar/grille with great prices and live music. Staff was cool and attentive. Love the 279!

i’m sitting here at 279 and felt compelled to leave a review. the way they have football set up on every TV around the bar is absolutely perfect. you can see every single game on at the same time on TV’s around the entire set up. the owners are always here, and they are always polite and welcoming. an awesome place to come see your team play every week.

This place was suggested to me a while ago as having great food. Strolled in on a Sunday just in time for Karaoke to start (after we ordered, or we would have walked right back out). No offense to people who like it, but why does it have to be done in public settings. Karaoke should be like AA; go to a private group and get it out. Maybe take a willing “sponsor” or two, but please don’t make listen… please.
Anyway, the bartender was awesome. The beer was great. The wings were superb, but that’s were it stopped. The Filet was over cooked, and tasted terrible. Not sure where the asparagus came from (can?) Or was pre poached? The burger had potential on paper, the patty was good (but way past medium), but something on the burger smelled off. The bacon, who knows, but it was disappointing. I took the patty out and ate it. Our dog at the majority of the filet.

We’re there with a group of 7. The reserved sign was on our nicely set table. Bar had a dozen people, tables nearl empty. 25 minutes before anyone showed up with a menu, 35 minutes before taking drink order.
Food was cold, incomplete, and billed incorrectly.

My wife and I were given a gift card for 279 last Christmas and it was about to expire so we gave it a try, having never been. Absolutely great sports bar! Food was way above what I expected. The cheesesteak is my wife’s new favorite! Everything was fresh and very well made! Loads of TV’s and even a TV in our booth the watch the game. Our waitress/bartender was super nice and friendly. Highly recommend! Will be going there from now on to watch the games with friends.

Wrap-up: Michele Lynn and staff offered great service. The appetizers that they put out to sample were above and beyond what we expected and they were delicious. This was our 3rd supper club event and I look forward to them every month. The crew that has come out thus far are amazing people. If you are contemplating coming than I ensure you to come check it out.

You Need To Know? No wait even though there was no parking for a friday night. Went & had a couple burgers & drinks. Waitress was friendly & helpful. Food came out in a timely manner. Fried pickles were a bit to salty. Burgers were large but over-seasoned & buns were huge. Good experience! Now You know!
