Went to try out @26 Pho in White Rock, while I was sad to see the Jamaican spot go that formally resided in this building but we can’t dwell on the past! So came to finally give it a try here!

The server was very sweet as I came in, let me sit where ever I was comfortable (the front table near the window had great light) I ordered the I ed Vietnamese drip coffee, The Fried Spring rolls and the House Special Beef Noodle Soup!

The spring rolls were amazing! Great flavor, crispy and crunchy, the coffee was a good mix of bitter and sweet with the condensed milk.

As for the pho it was very well balanced, I think this is a great broth for those that like to keep it light or prefer to dress up their pho. And wow the beef shank in the bowl is a nice touch to me Personally! I will definitely be back!

A very good pho place with some fantastic comfy food! Their large sizes of pho have a generous portion size, and they have some of the best chicken wings I’ve tasted in a while. Their rice and vermicelli dishes also taste great as takeout. I highly recommend checking out this place 🙂

The best Vietnamese food I have ever had. Chicken Bahi mi , house special pho, iced salt cream coffee and wings are just impeccable.

Where else can you order a house special with stacks of beef slices and a short rib with $21 bucks only in BC?

The wings are another great deal with $1 each, but they’re not only simply deep-fried but butter-coated, succulent inside but crispy outside with fried onions(?) on top

The Cantonese-speaking waitress is also very nice, sweet and warm, perfecting the whole dining experience.

Amazing pho! The broth for beef and chicken is the best in the area. The spring rolls are also packed with filling, one of the main star of the show. I quite enjoy their soft shell crab however like the other reviewers it could use some garlic or spice seasoning because the dipping sauce was a bit too sweet. Other than that the service was quite fast and the staff was friendly. I highly recommend for refueling after a day of shopping in the area.

The lemongrass chicken vermicelli dish was one of the best for me among the pho places in greater Vancouver. The price of $18 was reasonable and there were plenty of chicken meats.
One thing is that the vermicelli was cooked to tender stage and I had difficulties with the chopsticks picking up the vermicelli.
Also it would be great if they sell beers. The lemongrass chicken would taste even much better with beers.
This venue is at the corner of a small strip mall, though tiny in size, serves good food.

I have been eating out at restaurants almost every day for the better part of my adult life. I have had countless good, bad, and mediocre experiences with food and service. I have to say that this spot is really nice.

Compared to the other choices in whiterock I would say this is easily the best choice for Vietnamese food by far. The flavors are on point and the quality vs price is exceptional for today’s economy. There’s also a really cute server by the name of Gigi who works there and she is as skilled and efficient as any other server ive seen, even compared to my fine dining experiences. My every need was attended to in a timely and professional manner!

Im not saying this is the BEST Vietnamese food ive ever had, but this place is an EASY choice when considering Vietnamese food if youre in the south surrey/ white rock area.

I am thoroughly impressed. When was the last time you’ve seen a honky chunk of meaty bone in your bowl of pho? Doesn’t happen enough! Hence I was so pleasantly surprised and punctuated with a pronounced tip. This pho (house special) tastes authentic, meaning without pseudo-flavorings or such fillers and additives. The broth is more on the lean/meaty flavor side, not very aromatic, and somewhat rather salty (but some people like that, I get it). Still however very very tasty. The brisket was properly tender, and the steak fatty with a fresh meaty flavor. The pricing is very reasonable, and the place got very busy over lunch. Service is only a tad slow because they just opened, and it takes time for the kitchen and staff to fall into a rhythm. Allow them patience and they will reward you with a proper quality meal. Will update with more pics as I eat through the rest of the menu.
Edit.1: Added pics of chicken and pork bun sandwiches. Fresh tender meat, not overly spiced in terms of aromatics, toasty crisp bun, decent size, great for lunch. The elements of composition are tame and hence the catering is geared towards a Canadian audience. It’s a Vietnamese restaurant that remembers we’re still in Canada.
Edit.2: Added pics of wagyu-pho ($32) excellent and recommended. Wagyu is a deeper depth of beefy flavor, impossible to deny, worth the splurge if yer in the mood to celebrate.
Edit.3: Very tasty spring rolls and some type of whitefish in snack form. Wings were fresh but lacking saltiness and malt. They should be brined before frying.

Eventually, we have a new authentic Vietnamese restaurant in White Rock!

I ordered chicken wings and the rice with chicken, pork chop, and spring roll today. They serve in big portion with reasonable prices.

It was a delicious and very great portion! The restaurant was also pretty clean.

I highly recommend trying out this place!! Definitely come back again

Overall great place for pho and highly recommend this place! Had chicken wings the second time, tastes way better than soft shell crab don’t know why..and unfortunately beef stock were all gone only chicken broth for pho but was OK, understandable for 1st month. Great owners and service. Will for sure go back!

We went to @26 for the first time and the food was excellent. Kudos to the chef. Having traveled throughout Viet Nam we were quite familiar with many of the dishes. @26 did not disappoint, in fact, it is the best Vietnamese food we’ve eaten in White Rock since our travels to Viet Nam. The chicken wings are excellent. Crisp and flavourful–though smaller than those at Chinatown’s famed Phnom Penh Restaurant– they are just as good! We also ordered the Beef Ball and Rare Beef Pho – tender and delicious, and the Lemongrass Chicken Vermicelli. Both dishes were generous with their meat portions.
The dining room itself is small and maybe could use a fresh coat of paint, but its size and simplicity is akin to places you would find in Viet Nam.
Highly recommend. Great service, too.
