We ordered the House Special Pho and the Grilled Pork Vermicelli. Both came in very generous portions, you definitely won’t leave hungry! The broth was tasty and flavorful, and the pork was excellent. They also have a happy hour special which is good to know for next time. Easy parking in the front lot, too. Highly recommend giving it a try if you’re in the area!
Ambiance is warm and inviting and plenty of seating

LA weather is doing its thing again, jumping straight to 80°F (30°C). When it’s this hot, I lose my appetite for everything… except a solid bowl of Pho. I found this place on Maps and expected a quick, mid-day snack, but OMG. The portions? Massive. The flavor? Next level.
My Must-Order List:
✨ Special Combo Pho This bowl left me speechless. They do NOT skimp on the meat—tripe, tendon, rare beef, it was loaded! But the real MVP? The beef balls. They are so bouncy and “QQ” (super springy texture), not floury at all. The broth is super clear and sweet, not heavy.
✨ Lotus Root Salad (Goi Ngo Sen) The ultimate refresher! The lotus root is so crunchy it literally snaps. It’s got that perfect sweet, tangy, and slightly spicy lime dressing. Scoop it up with a shrimp cracker for that crunch-on-crunch action. Seriously, it’s a summer lifesaver.
✨ Bun Bo Hue (Spicy Beef Noodle Soup) If you’re a spice lover, this is your soulmate in a bowl. The thick noodles soak up all that rich, spicy, lemongrass-infused broth. It’s got that slight tang that just wakes up your taste buds!
✨ Special Appetizer Platter The pork chops and chicken wings are charred to perfection—so juicy! But my fave is the Spring Rolls. So fresh for summer, especially when you dunk them in that secret sauce. It’s a literal flavor bomb.
✨ Beef Stew with Baguette The plot twist of the meal! The beef is melt-in-your-mouth tender. Dipping that warm, crusty baguette into the thick curry gravy? Best carb-on-carb action ever.
To Wash It All Down:
Lychee Soda: Basically summer in a cup.
Matcha Coconut Water: A weirdly amazing combo. The earthy matcha + sweet coconut water = the ultimate palate cleanser.
The Verdict: The flavors here hit different—the broth has so much depth compared to the usual chains. It’s super affordable, the portions are huge, and the vibes are right. If you’re in Pasadena, RUN, don’t walk!
Service was fast and very attentive! Next time I’ll try pho and Vietnamese coffee
The pho broth is pretty light. Almost like a chicken based broth. Which I’m in the mood for at times.
