This place advertised on the Too Good To Go app and I purchased a surprise bag for pickup at 12:30 on a Monday. Except on the app it was called “Flippin Pizza”, but it has the same address as this place. I arrive at 12:30 and there’s no one there. The lights were on, but no one answered my knock on the door or window.

Furthermore, parking is non-existent, and the building is so old and disgusting that I wouldn’t want to eat there anyway. There’s a dumpster around the side which is only about 10 feet from the building, and it’s clearly filled with greasy foods because there are rank smells, flies, and wet sludgy dirt all around it. And there were some real shady guys sitting in a car filming something with their phones camera. I’m not sure what they were filming, but it looks like they were waiting for something. Not sure what, but it was weird.

NO!! this place is scam-ish.. FIRST OF ALL i ordered on uber eats and on ober eats it says the pizza place we are ordering from is (BIG PI PIZZA CO) with this address of 24th st pizzaria.
there are also deals for buy one get one free. there was a deal if you buy two medium pizzas you get the next two free. i also ordered AND PAID for ranch and blue cheese with utensils. i ordered it at 12:40 and was supposed to get here at 2:30am. it didnt get here till 3:56am. i only received two of the pizzas and thats it. i looked it up the big pi pizza co location on google maps and it wasnt matching with the adress on uber. so i then tried to call the actual restaurant and they didnt even answer it went straight to voicemail. so i called again earlier today and it still went to voicemail. i left more than three voicemails about the order. i havent been able to get a refund either it was 50 BUCKS and i only got two pizzas out of my whole order which cost 26 bucks. this place has great pizza but yall need to take more responsibility and be more professional with what yall do and pay attention to the orders.

This was honestly one of the worst experiences I’ve had using Too Good To Go, and I left feeling completely misled and taken advantage of.

I ordered two Surprise Bags, each listed as $6.99 with a $21 value, from two different businesses on the app: Pizza and Grill and Spinnin Pizza. The app showed them as being next to each other, so I placed both orders expecting fair value and transparency.

When I arrived at the address, neither business name existed. Instead, the location appeared to be operating as 24th St Pizzeria, which immediately felt confusing and deceptive.

I arrived a few minutes early and politely explained to the employee that I knew I was early and just wanted to check whether my two Surprise Bags were ready. I was more than willing to wait until the pickup time. Instead of a polite response, the employee snapped at me and rudely told me to “come back at 9.” The tone was dismissive and unnecessary.

When I returned at the correct pickup time, the food was still not ready. I was again met with rudeness and told it was “still in the oven” and that it would be brought out. I waited another 10 minutes, and when the food was finally handed to me, there was no apology, no explanation, and no thank you. I felt completely disregarded as a customer.

When I opened the Surprise Bags, my frustration turned into disappointment and anger. Each bag contained only a very small personal pizza. There is absolutely no way this came close to the advertised $21 value per bag. In total, I paid around $14 and was supposed to receive food valued at $42, yet all I received were two small personal pizzas.

What made this feel especially dishonest was a banner posted directly outside the building advertising a large pepperoni pizza for $6.49. Seeing that sign after receiving my Surprise Bags made it painfully clear that the value advertised on the app was completely inaccurate and misleading.

Between the confusing business identity, extremely poor customer service, long wait time, and the blatant mismatch between advertised value and what was actually provided, this experience felt like a scam. I use Too Good To Go because I believe in the mission and have had good experiences elsewhere, but this location did not honor the spirit or standards of the platform.

I left feeling upset, frustrated, and disappointed. This was not a “surprise bag” experience — it was misleading and unfair.

This was my first time ordering here, and the lack of customer service was extremely disappointing. There was no greeting, no “thank you,” no “would you like to add anything else,” no offer for drinks or dessert, nothing. Just a flat “okay,” followed by asking for my card number and, “give me an hour,” and then the call was ended.
That kind of tone and attitude is gross. I shouldn’t feel like I’m inconveniencing someone by placing an order, especially when I can spend $50 elsewhere and be treated with basic courtesy. No wonder you have an average of a 2.3 in review!
I’ll update once I try the food, but based on the customer service alone, it doesn’t give me much confidence in how the rest of the experience will be.
Don’t expect utensils, we order 2 pasta plates and only received 1 very thin flimsy spoon. How does one eat lasagna let alone spaghetti with a spoon? We’re at a hotel, our room does not have a kitchenette, and lady at front desk was busy. But it isn’t their job to give me utensils, it’s yours. I really wish the outcome would have been different, overall the food was a solid 5 of 10. Ill give you the benefit of the doubt that it was because it was a Friday night.

☆☆☆Total waste of time.☆☆☆
☆☆☆Never pick this☆☆☆

1. Incident Summary

A 50-minute delivery estimate was shown at checkout.
The food not ready for over 2.5 hours, with repeated driver cancellations.
3 hours later order not delivered.
Driver suddenly went missing (uber eats)

If I could leave a message for myself from four hours ago, it would be a clear warning not to place this order. I would also take the flyers already distributed throughout the nearby hotels and write a note on them stating that the actual wait time is at least three hours, in the hope that others might avoid the same situation.

To be fair, Uber Eats did fully refund the cost of my order. That is, perhaps, the only positive aspect of this experience. However, at this point, it is difficult to see how that helps. It is late, most places are closed, and my children and I are hungry. Uber Eats credit does not solve that problem, which makes the refund feel largely irrelevant.

I acknowledge that this outcome is ultimately my responsibility. Similar warnings were already present in other reviews. I chose to disregard them. I am leaving this review so that future customers can make an informed decision and understand what they may realistically be signing up for.

Order a small pizza for my daughter, was told it would be 15 minutes. At 15 minutes went to check on the status of the pizza. Was told by the young girl it still wasn’t ready. So from the time I ordered and the time it was brought to my car, 40 minutes went by. Don’t know why but kids running in and out of the establishment to the house behind the restaurant.

This place is located in the side of town I never visit, ut I heard about it through a friend, so I ordered to go on a Saturday night. The place was what I thought it would be and look like; the workers were friendly and real. I order my pizza when I arrived there and it was made and given to me quickly. I rushed home so I could devour pizza I had order and let me tell you, when I bit down on that 1st bite, my mouth was in pizza heaven! It was SO GOOD! It was so cheesy and full of flavor! Kudos to this gem of a pizza joint! I’ll be coming back!

HELL NAW never again. This place is a scam. I ordered from door dash they accepted my $ and took my order mind you I ordered at 1230 am, (website said they were open till 330 AM) then I see the order delivery time 225am, 2 hours later. So I call to confirm this is correct and the girl that answered the phone with “sigh * YES?” Explained I ordered and was just making sure it was received and she said “no we’re closed already idk if you’ll get your $ back we close at 1” and then she hung up on ME. Don’t eat here.
